Grandma's Baby (Private to Danny and I)

[Danny]

I smile and sit and read my book, making sure to look up and see that you're okay and playing happily

[BabyGabrial]

I play around with smaller kids 

[Danny]

I look at you and make sure you're behaving yourself.

[BabyGabrial]

I toddle over to the sandbox and play with one of your friend's three year olds

[Danny]

The mom comes and sits with me "Hey, your little Danny adores my grandson. Why don't we arrange a playdate?"

[BabyGabrial]

"Why of course Danny loves playing with babies but I think it's mostly because he likes bragging that he's a big boy and likes taking care of them so he'll probably be your little helper when it comes to taking care of Dominic"

[Danny]

Looks at you " have you managed to potty train Danny? Boys can be incredibly hard to train, especially with teaching them to stand up to pee. It's hard work, but it pays off in the end when they finally do get independent and you can get rid of the diapers"

I explain my agreement with Gabrial to Danny's mom

[BabyGabrial]

" oh yeah he was a real piece of work when it came to potty training but he's got it down packed though just in case I still keep him in Pull-Ups" 

[Danny]

"Well my little one will be in diapers for a few months until he's in employment"

[BabyGabrial]

"That's too bad he looks adorable he'd probably be the sweetest baby in town"

[Danny]

Looks at her and smiles "we can sort a playdate out. These two are adorable together" I  smile 

[BabyGabrial]

Dan's mother nods as they watch the two play together with Dominic doing what Dan says

[Danny]

I smile and watch my grandson play happily.

"So, your Danny is potty trained?"

[BabyGabrial]

"Yep but he has the occasional accident from time to time so he wears pull ups but he knows how to go by himself but he needs help wiping"

[Danny]

I smile "Boys are like that, I know when Dom was younger, he was 9 when he learnt how to properly clean himself, they always need someone to check if they have done a good job. It takes time, but I am sure he will get the hang of it"

[BabyGabrial]

"Yeah I'm just glad we got him out of diapers so we can get him in pre school this fall"

[Danny]

Looks at you "Just be careful, he can always rewind his potty training. Boys can regress when they see others in diapers and get jealous"

[BabyGabrial]

"It would be very odd. He liked being a big boy. Look he's even giving Dominic orders now like he's older"

[Danny]

I smile and just laugh

[BabyGabrial]

I play with Dan and I act like I'm the younger one and I start feeling like I really am a one year old and I am really enjoying it. All of the other kids don't really see a growm man in a diaper they just see a bigger baby

[Danny]

Danny smiles at Dominic "I big boy, you big stinky baby" he giggles

[BabyGabrial]

"I baby! I baby!" I say agreeing with Dan

[Danny]

Dan giggles and then feels the need to pee and runs to his mommy

"mama I gotta go potty" he says as he does the potty dance

[BabyGabrial]

"Alright my big man" picks Dan up and runs him to the potty.

I crawl over to Gwam Gwam wanting cuddles

[Danny]

I smile at you and pick you up and cuddle you
