Carl heard her crying eventually, and so he could no longer ignore what happened.

He came up the stairs and barged into the bathroom to make it look like an accident, and then he saw her sitting there in wet pants, the water about to overflow from the toilet.

"Sorry," he said and then pretended to just notice her pants.

"Honey? What happened?" he asked turning off the water to the tub.

May was always a worry wart, and her anxiety disorder didn't help by any means. She would fixate on the smallest thing and then it would swell into something bigger the more she thought about it.

Carl whispered to her.

"Even if that were true, about you being a baby, I wouldn't love you any less," he told her.

Carl lovingly helped her remove her clothes, and he whispered to her.

"Little May have an accident?" he asked her.

"Of course, sweetie," he put her jeans down and picked up her pajamas instead.

"I'm really sorry you had an accident and got embarrassed today, baby.

"Sure honey," he took that as a hint that she was still a little girl.

"Let's go see what appropriate movies we have for you right now."

He picked her up, surprisingly easier than he thought it would be, and he carried her down to the living room and sat her in front of the shelf of movies.

"Find a Disney movie or a PG13 or better one.

May smiled and climbed up on the couch with Carl. She flipped through the movies and stopped at one. "Moana?" She said softly. She had wanted to see it in theaters, but never had time with work, and never wanted to go alone and thought Carl wouldn't enjoy it.

When she fell asleep, after Carl was sure she wasn't going to wake up, he picked her up and carried her to bed.

Then he went and cleaned up a bit before going to bed himself.

Sarah slept through the night and woke up Saturday morning, stretching out and rubbing her eyes. She looked over to see if Carl was in bed still or not. Sometimes he got up before her sometimes he didn't. She was never really sure.
