Little BabyDoll Christine
This is what a 12-16 hour diaper looks like. It was made after a homemade diaper for a little girl in 1951 and made with "growing room". While lit is thick it is not as thick as you might think because the sides are fairly long and it is two of the same kind of diaper. But it is still thick enough so that it is difficult to close or cross the legs above the knee and it still forces the legs out a bit Part of what makes it go for so long between changes is a liner made from a waterproof panty cut to let the wet get into the diaper. It places a layer of waterprroof material and air between the body and diaper so wet stays away from the body longer, but the wearer has to stand up to wet, which was ideal for training to be dry at night, since, if you wet lying down, the wet gets all over you. Also, the wet goes into the diaper between the legs and comes up against the rubber panty over the diaper. It then spreads out along the outside of the diaper and wets the diaper from the outside in. Sometimes, after about 8 hours, the inside of the diaper is quite dry while the outside is wet. a layer of baby powder is put on the diaer liner to keep it from sticking to the body As you can see, it is longer on the sides, about 14", than the usual diaper and needs only one pin With all the rubber panties in place, snap-on, pull-on and the babydoll panty Link to comment
