Alex began to rock kissing Liam's hair "just rest my baby close your eyes and rest. You can relax I'll take care you now"

Liam sighed and closed his eyes. Maybe resting would take his mind off his ankle.

Alex just rubbed the little boys back as the rocked he hummed a little

"Can I pick the movie?" Liam asks softly.

Alex smiled dipping a kiss on Liam's head "of course Lili as long as your a good little baby and close your eyes and rest for me"

"Okay.." Liam closed his eyes again

Alex smiled his world was coming all together he dropped another kiss on Liam's forehead "such a good boy for me" as he waited for Liam to drop off he began planning dinner

After a little bit Liam eventually did fall asleep on his own.

Alex placed Liam in the toddler bed making sure the sides were strong and turning on a baby monitor went to start dinner

Liam snuggled under the blankets in his sleep.

Alex looked at the clock he started to boil water to cook potatoes. He smiled thinking of little Lili sleeping upstairs in his little diaper

Liam didn't wake up or use the diaper at all. He was enjoying his nap time.

Liam had been sleeping for just over an hour when Alex finished dinner. He put it to warm in the oven then went up stairs he lowered the bed rail then sat down next to the sleeping little boy rubbing his back he said in a soft voice " Lili baby, baby it's time to wake up my love open those eyes for me pretty boy"

Liam opened his eyes and let out a yawn. "How long did I sleep for?" He asks

Alex lifted Liam onto his lap "just over an hour baby, a perfect little nap for my perfect little boy now shall we go down and have some yummy dinner"

"Uh huh. What did you make?" Liam asks

Alex stroked the boys hair helping him to wake up "chicken and mashed potatoes baby boy won't that be yummy in your tummy" Alex tickled his tummy

Liam giggled as his tummy was tickled. "Yeah but I don't wanna a lot of chicken though." He says

Alex hoisted Liam into his hip walking him down the stairs "you can eat until your full baby Lili but I expect you to eat unless you want me to feed you, that's fine too"

"I can feed myself I'm a big boy." Liam says softly. "Is there gravy with the potatoes?"

Alex smiled down at the boy in his arms stroking his cheek he said "sure you are baby and yes of

"Okay..." Liam says as they started to go down stairs. He was a little hungry.

Alex carried Liam into the kitchen and deposited him into a seat "now sit tight baby we can't have you getting another owwie now what would you like to drink you could have milk water or a small glass of apple juice"

"I want Apple Juice please." Liam says softly. He sat still in his seat.

Alex filled a sippy almost half way full with juice adding some water before putting the lid on and handing it to Liam " now drink slowly baby Lili that's all the juice you get this close to bedtime"
