Jimmy kept an eye on the bottle. When it was about half empty, he pulled the nipple out of Grace's mouth and sat her up. Jimmy started rubbing her back.

"Come on baby. Burp for daddy." Jimmy cooed.

Grace frowned when he pulled away the bottle. She was just getting into the Rythem. Then she felt the gas bubbles when she was lifted up she whined softly when her back was patted.

"Come on baby. I know you have gas. Give daddy a nice burp and you can finish your bottle. I bet Doc McStuffins wants you to burp too." Jimmy cooed.

Jimmy kept rubbing and patting Grace's back.

Grace opened her mouth a little too be ready to burp. Just as she was about to whine again, she spit up just a little bit. It ran down her chin.

Jimmy took the rag from Alexis and wiped of Grace's mouth.

Grace nodded. She did feel better. When she was laid down she accepted the bottle and started drinking the formula again.

Jimmy held Grace up a bit so she could watch tv as she finished her bottle.

"Doc McStuffins is a cute little girl, isn't she?" Jimmy asked. "Not as cute as our baby though."

Grace smiled a bit and finished up the formula while she watched the show.

Jimmy took the bottle out of Grace's mouth, slipping her pacifier in her mouth instead. Jimmy sat Grace up and put his arms around her.

"I think it's time for your morning nap, baby." Jimmy cooed.

Grace suckled on her paci and shook her head, not feeling ready for a nap.

Jimmy nodded. He stood up kept holding Grace he walked around the house holding Grace against his shoulder, rubbing and patting her bottom.

"Ssh, baby girl. It's okay." Jimmy cooed.

Alexis smiled and started to clean up the living room.

"Ssh, settle down baby. Sick on your pacifier. Do you want daddy to get your blankie?" Jimmy asked.

"Mhmm..." Grace whined as she hummed mhmm.

"It's okay baby. Time to sleep. Daddy loves you." Jimmy cooed.

Jimmy walked around patting Grace's bottom.

Grace's eyes watered she wanted her blankie but she didn't want a nap.

Jimmy walked to the bedroom and took the blankie out of the crib. He gave the blankie to Grace and kept walking around, rubbing her back.

"That's a good girl. Now close your eyes and go to sleep, baby" Jimmy cooed, walking around.

Grace was starting to feel groggy. Especially since she was really fussing. She closed her eyes to try to fall asleep in his arms.

Jimmy kept walking around patting Grace's bottom, cooing to her. Finally h sat down in a rocking chair and rocked her, patting her bottom.

After only two minutes in the rocking chair, Grace was passed out. Maybe he should've tried the rocking chair the first time.

Jimmy went over to the DVD case and looked through the movies.

"Do you have a movie you want to see, honey?" Jimmy asked.

"Not in particular. You can surprise me." Alexis smiled. Since they had Grace move in and she became their baby, Alexis realized they hadn't any time together themselves except for when they go to bed. Even then Gracie was still in the room. So a movie with just them was a nice idea.
