The Tired Thief (Private RPMolly)

Ruby, 26, was slim and had long dark brown hair that reached down to the middle of her back, her clothes were tight against her but they were hidden away behind a long jacket, dark blue and double breasted, that came down to below her knees, her coat swaying, as she walked into a casino, offering a smile to a man at the door, her lips covered in ruby red lipstick.

"Come on you have a visitor" The tall officer called out, the sound of disgust evident in his voice as in his eyes she wasn't sorry, she was sorry she was caught and was more concerned about some of fellow cellmates potentially seeing her as fresh meet, handcuffs were applied to Ruby's wrists and she was marched down the long colourless corridor towards the visitor rooms the only smell was the industrial bleach used to clean the place.

Olivia Edwards sat in the visitors room a slight scowl running her almost flawless face, everything from her make up to her nails was done immaculately used to enhance her natural features rather than shield to hide behind, her jet black hair was flowing and she wore a white summer dress, her blue eyes scanned the room before in walked her former roommate, it had been many years since she saw Ruby, since she caught the girl red handed with her Mother's pearls in a pawn shop and it was no coincidence that the 28 year old wore those same pearls.

"Well this is quite the predicament" Olivia said somewhat smugly as the girl was sat at the desk before her.

Ruby stayed silent as the guard took her down the hall and into towards the visitor rooms.

"So how many people have you burned over the years for my name to appear on your list of people who might help you" Olivia said, her mind had been in two places since she heard the first to let her rot, she stole and she deserved it however the few months they roomed together she was like a little sister to Olivia and she was heart broken by the betrayal. Part of her wanted to know if this was a desperate girl who made a mistake or was Ruby sizing her up from the beginning as a potential mark.

"Are you sure you want to come at me with that attitude after all I could get you out of here" Olivia countered calmly dangling her freedom in front of the defiant handcuffed thief

Ruby looked away from Olivia not wanting to comment or even think about the many people she had betrayed, hurt or lied too, it was a lot and something that she thought about daily.

"Don't get me wrong, you deserve bars and no matter what if I let you out of here bars are what you will get" Olivia said with a satisfied smirk as she opened a folder she bought in with revealing two photographs the first Ruby was familiar with a standard prison cell taken from an image search the second was photo graphed by Olivia herself, the background of the room had soft pink walls and a fluffy white sheepskin rug sat in front of the wooden crib that was clearly to large to be a babies crib was the centre piece of the photo "Which set of bars would you prefer to wake up in every morning?" Olivia asked studying Ruby's expression her quivering lip, it wasn't the nicest thing to feel but she was still feeling satisfaction seeing her like this.

Ruby looked up at Olivia confused as she watched her former roommate take out a folder with two photographs, one was a standard prison cell, cold, damp and something she knew of but never experienced while the other was warm and inviting but odd and she wasn't sure which one was worse! Either way she would end up behind bars but she knew she wasn't fit for jail and would probably get eating alive.

"And the food......" Olivia continued "Which is more to your taste?" A grotesque picture of a white/yellow substance resembling a sort of clumpy porridge in a bowl that hadn't been washed for weeks, opposing it this time was the white tray of a high chair with a steaming warm bowl of oatmeal and an golden swirl of honey on the surface, it sat in a green plastic bowl with a matching plastic spoon and bib with a yellow trim and stating "Mommy's Little Angel"

Olivia had spent a long morning with the lawyer and a judge outlining her plan and while unconventional Ruby was a fairly small time criminal and since she was non violent they would be willing to hand her over for this alternative if the bail was paid in full.

Ruby looked at the photos and sighed softly as she pointed to the oatmeal with honey in it with the baby items.

"I think I understand you" Olivia said sharply looking the fallen thief in the eye as she pulled to more things from her folder, these had pictures but they were her parents mug shots coupled with their own criminal histories "You never had a chance did you being bought up by these people did you?" she stated calmly her voice mellowing becoming softer and more caring.

"I showed you those pictures because I am here to offer you a choice, go before the judge and serve your sentence or be bailed into my custody, where you will be raised again" Olivia said indicating towards the photos with the larger baby furniture.

Ruby tried her best to avoid Olivia's gaze but she couldn't as she watched her former room-mate pull out two more photos, one of her mother's mugshot and one of her father's.

"Just so we are clear this isn't optional once you are free from here the bail is conditional on you being under my care so I want you to know this will not be a quick one week fix" Olivia stated calmly laying the cards on the table "And you will be my baby until I start to see some significant change in you" indicating to the photos once more showing her what was a reality as she slid a fountain pen and a document across the table, Olivia's signature was already on it as her co-signer but now it just needed Ruby, one scribble with the pen and Olivia would be her new Mommy, being better than her old one wouldn't be a challenge the young woman thought to herself

Ruby nodded in response understanding Olivia's comment as she was giving the document and pen.

"We need to part ways for a little while, I need to get this filed with the officers and you need to be taken through the exit procedure" Olivia said not going into details of what Ruby could expect having seen her new little girl's record she didn't have any serious jail time but had several times where she escaped with a "second chance" the only difference was her personal belongings were being delivered to Olivia instead of returned to her.

She got up and walked over to Ruby "I'll see you soon be good for Mommy" she said leaning down and kissing her on the forehead before leaving with the paperwork

Ruby nodded as she sat quietly listening to Olivia.

"Be gentle" Olivia said passing off an envelope filled with money to the guards, the holding facility and the people that run it had a reputation of corruption but in this case it didn't turn out to be a bad thing, some well placed bribes had officials testifying and pleading her case that this treatment was the best thing for Ruby and in this situation it meant that instead of the usual harsh bullying that the guards normally did instead Ruby was going to go through the exit routine with lots of "Good lucks" and "I really think this will be the best for you" for once in her life showing her some good treatment.

Ruby was in shock, complete and utter shock as the guards took her out gently and told her positive things for once, she didn't know what to make of it at all! No one in her life had said anything positive to her.

"Well there's my girl" Olivia said for the moment the kindness was a bit of an act because she was pissed but she still hoped that her former roommate was in there, that little girl she grew close to before the betrayal was genuinely her friend.

"We are going to have get you out of these silly clothes when we get you home babygirl"

Ruby could only look at Olivia in shock she hadn't expected her former roommate to act like this and while she did feel her radar going off that something bad was about to happen she couldn't help but smile a little at Olivia because of the tone of her voice.

"I know we have had our differences and you probably think this is going to be revenge" Olivia said calmly as she opened the door revealing the replica of the child's car seat only larger, it was red in colour with a little plastic steering wheel so the child could drive like Mommy.

"I am offering you a chance at becoming something better I know you have questions but these can be discussed when we get you home and go over the rules okay, now can you hop in your seat for me?" Olivia asked studying Ruby's facial expressions photos were one thing but here was something in person that she was required to now use

"Mhm." hummed Ruby.

"Now than my little princess" Olivia started making sure to keep the babyish talk up to get Ruby acclimated to the fact that in her eyes she wasn't a grown up and therefore wouldn't be addressed as such. "We have a long way to go home so can you be a good girl for Mommy and let her focus on driving?" she said like she was explaining some simple task to a toddler as she pulled the singular strap up between Ruby's legs and it's clip fit perfectly into the two straps that over her shoulders with Olivia tightening them just enough to not be uncomfortable but enough to restrict her movement and now allow her to lean forwards.

Ruby nodded, blushing at the babyish talk unsure if she could get used to it but she had to because she had no other choice, did she, "Yes mommy, I'll behave." replied Ruby, softly as Olivia did her straps up.

"That's my good baby" Olivia said with a coo, looking at Ruby like a child who did something adorable when she heard the tiny thief refer to her as Mommy. While Ruby was probably thinking revenge over rehab there was a slightly more unusual motive between the two that explained the former roommates behaviours. Olivia was obsessed with control it was why the beautiful successful young woman had a problem maintaining relationships for a large stretch of time her desire to b in control and relied upon was usually to much for any partner, while not so much a whips and chains kind of dominant she did find a preference in a softer side of playing Mommy, in truth it was part of the reason she chose Ruby to live with her in the first place was she thought the girl was cute.

She wasn't going to force her kink on someone else however but when that someone turns out to be a criminal who in the process she could help, well the question of morality becomes a little more grey

Ruby blushed a little and looked up at Olivia and then looked away.
