[Danny]

"yeah I fine, I miss you though, i know it must have been hard being a single mom with me when you was my age. I definitely don't want kids this early. I have a girlfriend but we are taking things slowly. Can I call you mom?" I ask nervously.

"You can. Whatever feels comfortable.
That's great that you're taking it slow"

[Danny]

"Who is my dad?" I ask curiously

"His name is Randy. He was 18 when I was 15 and had you.

My dad threatened to press charges if he didn't stay away.

[Danny]

"Your mom. My nan didn't want to know me? I understand. Would I be able to meet them?

"Well no, she was older and tired and couldn't take care of us both.

Dan, I don't think it's a good idea for the twins to meet my family. I'll let them when they're older if they want to.

[Danny]

"Can I not at least meet my grandparents? They'll be delighted that they've got three grandchildren"

"Dan. Please be patient. This is a lot for now. You just met me. And you're about to meet your birth dad.

And I don't know if your mom is OK with it.

If your mom says it's alright, I'll set up a meeting"

[Danny]

Nods.

"Sure. It's right through there"

Smiles and I grab my bag wondering if she's heard the rustling.

Randy comes in with Peter.
"Is this my boy?"
He goes to shake your hand

[Danny]

I look at him "dad?" I put my hand out and shake it.

Randy: "Of course he is. He looks just like me."

Peter: "Hi brother"

[Danny]

"Thanks dad, and this is Justin, he's my adopted moms son"

"Good to meet you Peter"

Justin: "Hi. Nice to meet you sir"

[Danny]

"Connie has been very good to me, she's treated me like her own. And Justin is a very good brother to me. I am glad I have a dad in my life too, and now a little brother as well, well two brother and a sister"

Randy: "I was a little hesitant at first, But you need some help with that hand shake.

So if it's OK with your mom maybe we can go out together"

Peter: "Dad can we take Dan to a baseball game?"

[Danny]

"Sorry Randy but I'm just nervous. The first time I've met you. You'll have to ask my mom though. Does she know I've met you?"

"Your mom knows. She made this visit happen.

[Danny]

"You mean, Connie knows? or Amanda knows?" I ask curiously

"I have a adopted mom and a birth mom. I hardly know my birth mom, how do I know I can trust you? You abandoned me when I was a baby and left my mom to give me up!"

"Calm down, son. Connie knows. She brought you here today.

I didn't mean to leave. I was young. Her parents threatened to have me charged. And we just couldn't raise you"

[Danny]

"You were underage! she was 15! How could you do that to her"

"What do you mean you couldn't raise me? I want to go home, forget the baseball game, I need time to think about this. You didn't want to know me when I was a baby so why would you want to know me now"

I text Connie to come and meet me

Randy: "Right. And I was 18. I'm sure you understand. We were kids.
I tried to find you after we gave you up, but you kept moving from home to home"

Connie finds Dan: "It's all right, baby. But you need to go back and apologize to them. Just because you're upset doesn't mean you should yell"

[Danny]

"I know dad and I'm sorry I shouted. I get I'm just upset because I have lots of questions and things going round in my mind
