Sarah_Hillcrest
As a bicycle racer and a big fan of the Tour de France I can assure you that they don't wear diapers and they don't poop during races unless something is really wrong. Link to comment
eatenbywo1ves
Haha, these Tour de France stories are pretty wild! I can for sure buy the whole pissing into the wind thing from a cycle, makes sense and seems easily doable. So LeMond shit in his teammates cap then finished it off on a box of postcards, fucking savage. Link to comment
Sarah_Hillcrest
yes, in 86 he was suppose to be supported for the win by his team mate Hinault, who he had helped win the previous year. Link to comment

Bettypooh
I do volunteer work for two rides (not races) here, and the weather can be hot or cold and wet or dry. In 6+ years of working them I can tell you for certain that nearly everyone goes in their suit, and sometimes it's very visible. Porte-potties are provided at every rest stop on these rides but they get little use. And judging by the time the person is in there that's not for peeing. George Hincapie lives in this area and he's been with friends on these rides twice that I've noticed. Other names have been mentioned as being there but I didn't recognize who they are. This is in the mountains so there plenty of hills. I haven't worked the Assault on Mt Mitchell which is nearby but that one is a world class race, mostly uphill, and with lots of DNF's.
