A Summer's Regression

[robehouse]

Anna kept her eyes covered as she finished counting.

"...8...9...10! Ready or not, here is come!"

Paige giggled as she heard the words. She covered her mouth to stay quiet so she wouldn't be found so soon.

[robehouse]

Anna thought she heard a giggle,

Paige giggled again hearing Anna wonder. She put her thumb in her mouth. And peaked out a little but quickly his back behind the tree.

Anna heard Paige giggle and saw her peek out from behind her tree. She smiled and acted like she hadn't seen her.

"Baby is a good hider. I hope I find her soon," Anna called out..

Anna looked under things and behind other trees as she made her way over to where Paige was at.

Paige heard her coming closer, giggling behind her hands.

Finally Anna reached the tree where Paige was. She came around and smiled at Paige.

"There you are. You sure are a good hider, baby. I would never have thought you were behind this tree. You were so quiet."

Anna gave Paige a hug.

"Do you want me to go hide now?"

Paige smiled and hugged back. "Yeah you hide then I'll count!" Paige says

"Alright, cover your eyes, baby." Anna said.

Anna waited for Paige to cover her eyes and ran off to hide. She looked around and got down behind some bushes and waited.

Paige covered her eyes. "One... Two.... Three..." Paige started to count. Not peaking one bit.

[robehouse]

Anna smiled at how cute Paige looked covering her eyes. She adjusted herself behind the bush as she waited for Paige to finish counting and look for her.

Paige continued counting while Anna went to go hide somewhere. "7... 8...9...10!" She yelled ten loudly. "Ready or not here I come!" Paige called uncovering her eyes.

Anna giggled a little and tried to stay quiet as Paige came looking for her. Nancy and Judy came outside and watched from the patio table.

Paige looked at Miss. Nancy and her aunt Judy. "We're playing hide and seek so if you see Anna, don't tell me! I wanna find her myself." Paige says determined.

[robehouse]

Judy smiled at Paige.

"Okay baby. We don't know where she is though."

Anna peeked around the bush to see where Paige was at, trying not to be spotted.

"Okay, just letting you know." Paige said and started to look for her friend again.

[robehouse]

"Thank you baby. You are such a good girl." Judy cooed.

Annie sneezed loudly where she was hiding and giggled. She stayed down behind the bush though.

Paige was about to reply but she heard a sneeze. She thought of an easy way to trick Anna. "Bless you!" Paige called out, hoping Anna would respond. She remembered people say bless you after someone sneezes

"Thank you." Annie replied before thinking and quickly covered her mouth, giggling again. She peeked over the bush to see where Paige was.

Paige ran over to where she heard the thank you coming from. "I'm coming to find you!" Paige says. She saw Anna peak and went to the bush quickly. "Found you!"

[robehouse]

Anna stood up and smiled at Paige.

"You sure did, baby! You are a good seeker. It didn't take you very long at all. Do you want to keep playing hide and seek or play something else?"

Judy came over to the girls.

"Are either of you hungry? I thought maybe you could sit at the picnic table for awhile and I can bring something out."

"I could eat something." Annie said, then looked at Paige.

"I was just gonna tell Anna, that I'm feeling hungry." Paige told Judy

[robehouse]

Anna took Paige's hand and walked over to the picnic table. Judy and Nancy went inside and returned in a few minutes with a plate with cut up sandwiches and another one with fruit on it. Nancy had a baby bottle with juice in it and a sippy cup and two empty plastic plates.They set them on the table, giving Paige the baby bottle and giving Anna the sippy cup.

"Thank you auntie and Miss Nancy." Annie said.

She took a sandwich

"Thank you Auntie Judy and Miss. Nancy." Paige says as she started to eat

"Aw, you are welcome baby. It's a joy getting things for you because you are always so appreciative." Judy said.

Judy and Nancy sat next to Paige and Anna and watched them eat.
