A Summer's Regression

[robehouse]

Judy sat down and picked up a piece of the sandwich and held it up to Paige's mouth. 

"Here you are baby." Judy cooed.

Paige opened her mouth to take a bite of the sandwich which she did,  and happily are the bite.

[robehouse]

Judy kept feeding Paige the sandwich, stopping to hold the bottle up so she could drink from it.

"You certainly are a hungry baby." Judy said.

Paige agreed and started to drink her juice from the bottle. "When do we get Anna, auntie?" She asks.  

[robehouse]

"In a couple of hours, baby. You have time to play and I want you to take a nap before we go to pick her up." Judy said.

Judy let Paige finish her bottle, then cleaned her face and took off her bib. Judy lifted Paige out of the high chair and gave her a hug.

"Okay auntie!" Paige says.  She hugged back happily.

Judy took Paige's hand and led her to the living room and took her over to the baby blanket and made Paige sit down. Judy took a pacifier out of her apron pocket and held it in front of Paige's mouth.

"Open up baby." Judy cooed.

Paige was sat down on the baby blanket. She opened her mouth for the binky. She accepted it and started to suckle away on it.  

[robehouse]

Judy smiled and stood up.

"I'll be back shortly to put you down for your nap. Then I'll get you dressed to go pick up Anna." Judy said.

Judy left the room.

"Okay, auntie!" Paige says and started to play with her toys happily. 

[robehouse]

Judy cleaned up for awhile, then came to get paid for her nap. She came into the living room and smiled at Paige.

"Time for a nap, baby."

Judy picked up Paige and checked her diaper.

"Would you rather be changed before your nap, or wait until I am ready to dress you to go out?" Judy asked, carrying Paige to the nursery.

"Hm.. wanna wait till you're ready. " Paige said she was ready for a nap.  

[robehouse]

Judy smiled.

"That's what I'd hoped you would say, baby."

Judy laid Paige in the crib and took a baby bottle with formula in it out of her apron pocket and laid out down next to Paige. She moved Presley next to Paige and covered them both. She gave both Paige and Presley a kiss.

"Go ahead and drink your bottle, baby. It will help you sleep."

Judy turned down the light before leaving the room.

Paige laid there and took her bottle,  she started to drink the warm formula. She watched auntie turn down the light and leave.  

[robehouse]

Judy watched a couple of shows on tv while Paige napped and did a load of laundry.

Soon it was time to wake Paige up. Judy came over to the crib and saw th bottle was empty, she patted Paige's bottom.

"Time to wake up, baby."

Paige was sleeping on her tummy with Presley under her head. Her eyes snapped open when she heard Judy tell her it was time to wake up. She sat up, "hi auntie!" 

[robehouse]

"Hi baby. Did you have a good sleep? Let's get your diaper changed and then dressed to go get Anna."

Judy picked Paige up and undressed her except for her diaper. Judy carried Paige over to the changing table and laid her down. She strapped Paige down and untaped her diaper.

Paige allowed herself to be undressed.  "Can I have pigtails put in my hair, auntie, please?" She asked meaning she wanted her hair done as pigtails. 

[robehouse]

"Of course, baby. After I put a clean diaper on you and dress you, I'll fix your hair. Would you rather wear a princess dress, or a tee shirt and shorts?"

Judy lifted Paige's legs and pulled the diaper out and started cleaning her.

"Princess dress!" Paige says happily.  Wanting to look pretty.  

[robehouse]

"That's what auntie would have chosen for you to wear as well. " Judy said.

Judy put a clean diaper on Paige and a pink onesie that said PRINCESS on it and got her off the changing table.  Judy took a pink princess dress off its hangar and slipped it on Paige. She pulled it down and zipped the dress up the back.  She led Paige over to the mirror so she could fix her hair. She picked up a brush and started brushing Paige's hair.

"Who is that cute little baby in the mirror?" Judy asked, patting Paiges bottom.

Paige cooperated for the diaper change as always and was excited to wear her princess dress.  She then watched as she was sat in front puff the mirror and pointed at herself when she was asked who the cute little baby was. 

[robehouse]

"That's right, you're the cute little baby.  You're aunties little baby, Miss Nancy's little baby and you're mommy's little baby too. How would you look to call mommy when we get home with Anna?" Judy asked.

Judy put pigtails in Paige's hair, tied with pink bows. She got a silver tiara and slipped it on Paige's head.

"There's our little princess." Judy cooed, standing Paige up and patting her bottom.

Paige grinned at the mention of calling mommy. "Yeah I wanna call mommy! She can meet my friend Anna!" Paige clapped happily. 

[robehouse]

Judy smiled and picked Paige up. She slipped her pacifier back in her mouth and then carried Paige out to the living room. She got her purse and car keys and took Paige out to the car. She put Paige in her car seat and fastened her in.

"Alright, let's go get Anna, baby."

Judy gave Paige a baby toy to play with, then got in the car and started out.
