A Summer's Regression

Paige started to cry loudly after she threw up. She still cried even as she rinsed her mouth with water and spit in the sink. She made grabby hands to Nancy sobbing

Nancy picked Paige up and carried her to Judy's room. She laid her down on the bed and laid next to her.

"Let's try and get some sleep, baby. It will help you feel better."

Paige continued to cry even when being laid down in the bed. She didn't feel good at all and was too tired and cranky to talk.

Nancy slipped the pacifier back in Paige's mouth and cuddled with her, trying to get her to sleep.

Nancy stayed next to Paige as she slept so Paige wouldn't wake up upset again. Judy brought Presley over and laid her next to Paige.

Paige had slept for another couple hours and when she woke up she had a very messy diaper. She still had a fever. It went down earlier from the bath but it had went back up.

[robehouse]

Judy came in to check on Paige. When she saw Paige was messy, she went and got a clean diaper, wipes, diaper rash creme and powder. She came over and changed Paige into a clean diaper. Nancy got the chewable Tylenol and gave one to Paige.

"Come on baby, take the medicine."

[Skylove27]

Paige sighed and

"I know you do baby. Hopefully this will all be over by tomorrow. If not, I can take you to the doctors and he can maybe give us a prescription or something." Judy said.

[Skylove27]

"I don't like the doctors!" Paige whined making a pouty face

[robehouse]

"Aw, I know baby. I don't really like them either. But sometimes we have to see doctors whether we like to or not. Let's just see if you get over this by tomorrow. How would you like to lay on the couch with me and watch tv or a movie?" Judy asked.

[Skylove27]

"Uh-huh. Can Miss Nancy join us?" Paige asks softly.

[robehouse]

"Of course she can. I don't think there is room on the couch for her since I want you to lay down and take it easy, but she can sit in one of the other chairs and be in the living room with us."

"That's right, baby. I'll be real close by and watching you too." Nancy said with a smile.

"Okay. Can we watch that new movie Moana?" Paige asks her auntie and held up her arms to be picked up.

[robehouse]

"That sounds good, honey. I can pull it up on my tv." Judy said.

Judy picked Paige up and carried her to the living room. Nancy went to the kitchen and filled a baby bottle with juice. She came out to the living room as Judy laid down on the couch and laid Paige next to her, cuddling her. Nancy gave Paige the bottle and sat down. Judy got the remote and found Moana. She got it ready to play and pushed the button to start it.

Paige cuddled closely to Judy and accepted the bottle she was givin. She sighed, and started to watch the movie.

Nancy got a pink baby blanket and laid it over Paige. She started watching the movie as well, keeping her eye on Paige at the same time. Judy kept her arms around Paige to keep her warm as well.

Paige fell asleep halfway through the movie with the bottle in her mouth. Not much was drank from it.

[robehouse]

Judy saw that Paige was asleep and took the bottle from her, setting it aside. She paused the movie so it would continue from that part when Paige wanted to see the end of the movie. Judy adjusted the blanket over Paige and cuddled closer to her.

Paige continued to sleep as she was cuddled to Judy. She snuggled close in her sleep. She was quiet and peaceful.

Nancy got her phone and took a picture of Paige sleeping next to Judy on the couch. Judy stayed like she was, not wanting to disturb Paige and wake her up. She didn't care how long Paige slept.

Paige slept for atleast 45 minutes. It felt like a short time to Paige though when she woke up. She started to cry automatically because she was very tired and still felt icky

"Shh baby. Auntie is here and so is Miss Nancy. Just relax." Judy cooed in Paige's ear and slipped the pacifier in her mouth.

Paige cried and suckled her paci gently. She managed to keep it in her mouth for a couple minutes before it fell out of her mouth because she started crying again. Her face looked a bit red again.
