wetatnight
with that price range your options are limited if your budget would allow you could try Abena pull ups or other ones from online stores like XP medical and others Link to comment
Padded53
The Always Discreet pull-ups are quite a bit better than the Depends but still don't hold as much as most tape-up style diapers. Link to comment
rusty pins
Lots of people use inserts, but adult ones can be bulky or seem bulky in a pull up disposable underpant. Link to comment
Bettypooh
Baby diapers, even the cheapest ones, are said to make good 'doublers' so that may be worth a try. Just cut off the non-absorbent parts, but leave about 1/2" (12mm) to the padding so it doesn't spill out. Bambino Quaddros for the win- not cheap but wow do they hold a lot! Bettypooh Link to comment

Pull ups are Ok for slight to moderate incontinence but usually leak spectacularly if I flood. Link to comment

With most pullups, a flood inside equals a flood outside which renders using them useless. They were not meant for such severe usage but they do OK when used as they were designed for.
