Does anyone clams the diapers as a medical expenses ?

Will be doing so this year for the first time, I wear for medical needs and have been diagnosed my an urologist so my diapers wipes and creams are deffinatly a tax deduction. I just wish our insurance company would cover diapers.

According to my accountant you're not allowed that or any other ancillary medical deductions anymore because your mandated health insurance is supposed to be covering it. And as we've seen here many people's insurance doesn't

I guess I should have added I am from Canada and we are alowed to claim diapers that are used as a medical expense.

In the US health expenses have to be a large part of your income, otherwise not deductible.

In Norway you get free diapers, if you have a medical reason, so no medical expenses

Even though my diapers makes me healthier, its not medical..
