(Not So) Happy Addition (Private)

Spencer looked over.

Elizabeth just nodded. She trusted Spencer, so she didn't mind. She wrapped the towel around herself.

Spencer smiled softly taking off the towel before putting her into the bath. He then put in some of Heather

[Shy-Diapers]

Elizabeth's eyes went wide seeing the toys. She happily played with them until Spencer came back. She barely knew he had left.

When Spencer came back he smiled.

Elizabeth nodded. She even put the head of one of he blue ducks into her mouth and chewed on it. It seemed to make her relax and calm down allot more than Spencer had ever seen her.

Spencer looked over.

Elizabeth happily relaxed in Spencer's arms when she was lifted from the tub. She still had the duck in her mouth. She seemed to like it and it kept her calm, and keeping the little girl calm was the key to getting the girl to adapt and feel safe in her new home.

Spencer smiled drying off the little girl before going out to get some clothes. He came back with some pjs and some underwear.

Elizabeth nodded. She put her arms up so Spencer could put her nightgown on her. It was old, but was the nicest thing besides the red dress she wore earlier that she had. It wasn't ripped yet, so that was a plus.

Spencer pulled it on looking at it.

Elizabeth seemed to tense up when Spencer referred to Mary as Mommy. She dropped the toy duck and her eyes went wide. Her little body starting to shake.

Spencer looked over sighing and kicking himself for saying what he did.

Elizabeth squirmed away from Spencer. She ran as far as she could. She didn't know where anything in this big house was. She eventually made her way into the garage. She climbed on top of the station wagon and curled up in a ball, shaking. She started crying. She thought Spencer was someone she coils trust.

Spencer sighed.

Elizabeth was scared. This had not been the perfect meeting. First the other girl was mean and nasty to her, and now Spencer had brought back bad memories.

Spencer reached over picking her up and softly rocking her.

Elizabeth nodded. She curled up against Spencer. She felt better now and was yawning. Crying had taken allot out of the little girl.

Spencer looked over.

"Doggy?" Elizabeth asked shyly when she had gotten to Mary's room. The little girl didn't have anything of her own besides the little stuffed dog Spencer has given her.

Elizabeth snuggled up to Spencer once she had her toy. She was tired and could use a nap. She yawned and rubbed her eyes. She was about to pass out but looked up when she heard the knock.

Spencer looked to the door.

Elizabeth just blinked at Heather when she came in. She didn't understand the concept of being apologized to. She wasn't really even sure what she was supposed to say or do. "I sorry." She said softly, pushing the stuffed toy towards Heather along with the duck, figuring she'd want that to. She just wanted Heather to be nice to her, but she didn't know what it was like to be apologized to.

Heather smiled a little before looking to Spencer.
