Shy-Diapers
Mary was running around frantically as she made sure she has everything they needed. She wasn't sure what the girl would want, so she packed some blankets and a new stuffed animal and some snacks for her daughter. Today was the day they'd get to adopt Elizabeth. Elizabeth had been bounced from place to place after being abandoned by her mother shortly after birth. She was born with an extra finger on each hand, and that was a turn off for adopting parents, but they'd been removed shortly after she was about 1. There was no sign of it now, but not many people wanted to adopt anyone older than 6 months. "Are you ready?" She asked calling to her husband and daughter. Link to comment

Shy-Diapers
"Yeah I think we have everything." Mary said. She kissed Spencer on the cheek before hearing Heather. She sighed. "Heather we talked about this. You're getting a new sister, that's that. You remember not having Mommy or Daddy to love you don't you? We want another little girl to be able to be happy and live with us. Now put your coat and boots on or you'll be in timeout when we get home." Link to comment

Shy-Diapers
"Heather you're going whether you like it or not." Mary said. "There's plenty of us to go around for both of you. Now you have 5 seconds to get to the door." She grabbed her purse and extra bag and looked at Heather expectantly. "5......" Link to comment

Shy-Diapers
"Then you'll get a spanking before we leave and won't come out of your room when we get home. No matter what you're going. Now, you can go to the door and not get a spanking or you can sit there and get a spanking before having me buckle you in the car like a little kid. Is that what you want?" Mary was getting sick of this behavior. Spanking was always a last resort, but Heather knew not to push it when it was threatened. Link to comment
Squiregirl18
Hearing what could happen Heather got up and walked to the door and then out to the car. She got into her car seat and got herself bucked in. Link to comment
Shy-Diapers
"Yeah. She better behave when we get there." Mary said looking back at Heather. "Hon, when we get there, why don't you go in and meet her first, the foster family said she doesn't get along well with female authority figures, so maybe you'll be able to calm some of her anxiety." Shy-Diapers
Mary nervously wrung her hands and stared at the empty car seat in the back. Would the girl like them? What if the girls didn't get along? She pushed the thoughts out of her mind. After about half an hour they arrived at the foster home. "Here goes nothing." She said looking nervously at Spencer. Shy-Diapers
Elizabeth looked up at Spencer. She was really shy. Her little pale cheeks were bright red as she wrapped her feet around themselves nervously. "H-Hi." She said after a while. She had a soft voice, one that was obviously scared and cautious of things tied up in pretty packages. Link to comment

Shy-Diapers
Elizabeth looked up and shyly accepted the dog, after being sure it wouldn't be taken away. "E-Elizabeth." She mumbled out. The fiver year old was a little small, and could use some more meat on her bones. After a few more minutes, she shyly reached for him, ready to start her new life. She had her new toy in one hand, that was a near twin to the one Heather had gotten when she was adopted, and a small garbage bag with a few pairs of clothes in the other. The girl unfortunately didn't own a thick coat. Link to comment
