I just got home from grocery shopping and while in the supermarket I saw a women wearing a denim bib and braces dress.

It is a double standard... but it is encouraged by our society. Women are encouraged to be as child like as possible. They always need protection, they should focus on being pretty and cute, not on grown up things like work and success. This is reflected in fashion, which does infantilize women. It is why a woman wearing a diaper is more easily accepted then a man wearing a diaper.

Like so many things, it's not fair what women can wear and men can't. I love my romper suits - I have both one with a skirt and one with shorts. I love the one with the skirt because it shows my nappies and baby knickers whenever I bend over. But I love my one with shorts too because it holds my nappies so tightly, and there's no escaping that fact that it's obvious I have a nappy on underneath.
