Travel cots or cots on holidays

Hi everyone

Has anyone slept in a travel cot or in cots while they have been on holiday.? The reason I ask is I was booking a holiday this week and saw that you could have either a cot or travel cot added to you holiday home and thought had anyone actually used them while they were away I was very close to booking one for ours

I have, but only when a bed, couch, or air mattress wasn't available. I also used to sleep on a cot when camping and didn't want to sleep on the ground.

"Cot" is proper English for "crib" in American English Haven't done it myself but if you are light enough and small enough then you might try it It would be hard to explain if it broke from you being too big, however

Ah, sorry I didn't realize the OP even meant the British definition.

Sorry no, I have not slept in a crib since before I can remember. I too would recommend you make sure it's reinforced to hold an adult though. There's a big difference in construction for a 20lb baby vs a 200 pound adult. You wouldn't want to be stuck with an unnecessary essay repair bill just because you wanted to try it out.
