I seldom check member profiles (especially on my phone), so unless someone comes outright and says they are underage I do not care what age you are or how you're acting. (grammar aside)

While I also recognize the rules of DD, I also know our bill of rights is supposed to protect against age discrimination. Turning someone away- from anywhere- just because they are one day or 10 years under 18 is just that.

In this regard I refuse to perpetrate the same kind of discrimination I so vehemently remember getting when I was young. Now with this said, yeah we need to still protect them from sexual predators and such. But I do believe it's possible to do this without banning them.

Go ahead, haters can hate me now.

The problem with minors and interacting with them is it puts yourself and these site in legal mobojumbo. Now if you start talking to a minor and their parents get heavy handed with you your tone will change when you are arrested and viewed as a sexual deviant. Those rules are here for our protection. Simple as that.

you are confusing real world rights with internet privilages, the constitution, as much as i believe in it, doesnt apply online, on top of that if you dont report a minor, and you treat them as adults on adult only places, you risk being investigated, others being investigated, giving those in this community a bad or worse reputation and or this place being shut down, the law is clear, and its not that much to ask that a person who is under age just wait till 18, i dont care if they are 13 or whatever, its only 5 years, this board will likely still be around and if not there will be others when they are of legal age

I've never noticed any underage members on here, but would report them immediately if I did. However, as long as the discussion isn't sexual in nature, I think there are situations where it might be more helpful to justify the person with a reply than to just ignore them. I'm looking at the locked post that Repaid1 left up right now and it's clear that this is someone in need of practical, non-sexual advice. There's a perfectly good way to respond to this without getting into anything sexual, and I'll put an example inside of a quote below.

They can see this and other sites without signing up, they can see ABDLism isn't wrong, that argument doesn't work. But there is a difference between them be able to see the content and actively participate in it. You can argue that some teenagers are very mature, but by signing up for this site at all they show their immaturity by ignoring one of the cardinal site rules right off the bat.

You guys are right, IF minors were to be allowed here then there would be WAY more scrutiny on the whole site. Obviously that is not something DD can or would like to handle.

One possibility would to only allow kids to post to one specific area, and maybe limit or block their ability to send/receive private message (so all could be seen and monitored even if by only the mods).

My point is even with difficulty and scrutiny it is not impossible or illegal to accommodate minors, yet they are being treated like it is- and that IS discrimination.

Geez! The good old "Age Discrimination" again! Wake up! You want 6 year olds to drive a car down the interstate? Go to the bar and get drunk? Buy a gun? Go to a strip club and watch porno movies? Don't be stupid and use "Age Discrimination" for justifying every dumb idea you personally want to do! Does that also mean in your justification that an adult can have sex with a 10 year old otherwise it's "Age Discrimination"? Remember the 7 year old years ago who thought she could be the youngest to pilot a plane across country, took off in a storm and was killed along with her father and instructor? How about the more recent girl who was firing a machine gun and ended up killing the instructor! My GOD! Trying to justify your personal position on anything by pulling the "Age Discrimination" card is just stupid! Besides that, no one has any guaranteed rights to belong to this site. It is not your site, you do not own it. It is here by the grace of Mikey and Daily Diapers as the owner for the use of people who he deems OK to be here. He is also required by regulations (weather you believe they are right, constitutional or fair) to follow those rules and regulations regarding age, content, etc. It is his site. He pays for it. Your monitary contributions if any are just that - contributions, not a fee that you must pay to join that gives you unconditional rights to be here, say and do whatever you want to and inter act with whoever you feel like. He has the rules clearly stated and you must abide by them or he has every right to kick you out and ban you (and anyone else who violates them) FROM HIS SITE!!! You may feel constitutionally about age discrimination but where is your common sense? Good Grief!

Short answer, yes I do. Granted there needs to be physical and mental restrictions for operating cars, guns, etc. for safety's sake (is the kid tall enough to reach the pedals and see over the wheel better than grandma is, are American children capable of being taught to drink responsibly like they already are in Europe, or is that little girl actually strong enough to control that machine gun, etc).

Of there will always be fails on the parents part- as was the case in your examples, and as there are for adults all the time. It's still not a good reason to exclude them though, now is it. Of course the one good reason you pointed out is that this is DD Mikes Web site and he does not want to deal with the added difficulty/scrutiny.
