I've advocated for partners telling their S.O. about their diaper desires from the very beginning. It's great you reacted to his diapers so favorably, but he did in effect lie to you for 14 years about who he truly is deep down. That could be definite means for a divorce if ever there was one- especially if you had reacted negatively.

Glad to see it worked out for the two of you though.
