Not even that. They are see through so doubt they are waterproof or remotely absorbent either. Not a diaper, and not a diaper cover. Might be some sort of dressing you can wear under normal underwear for limiting blood stains after a surgery or something like that.

I see no point in getting something like this unless you have a doctor that says you need it.

if I remember correctly I've seen on here the name of these, they serve the purpose as plastic pants, you tie them at the sides instead of tape. It's not something you would want to wear by it's self. Every once in a while you'll see a model picture with a girl wearing them. I just don't remember where you can get them.

I'd have guess that it's intended to be a diaper cover, but it certainly wouldn't be an effective on.

Yes, they are called "snibbs" and are used to secure absorbent pads instead of reusable pants. What the upside of this is vs a traditional tape on diaper I'm not sure.
