It probably would've been flushed out with time as long as it didn't cause a clog. I've gone back into a Malecot catheter stent cut to the proper length and I've also found when I "push" the stent moves further down back into its position. With the cath stent it can only go as far as the bladder neck and can't expel any further so it simply returns to the normal position. I also experience no let-up in urine flow and when I stand up or remove the diaper. It's going to drip continuously and if I've had something to drink, almost flow out on a very regular basis to the point that I will have a puddle quickly. It's an interesting experiment to drink something then see how fast the flow changes when there's nothing to stop it. I woke up with a very full diaper and zero in my bladder. The biggest difference is I don't notice a gush or flow when standing up. The cath tube seems to flow no matter what so I'm dripping all the time. Very rarely do I feel a warm gush of more than a few spoonfuls perhaps. Keep up the good work and enjoy your incontinence now. I may try that formation at some point, cutting a catheter tube to my specs may yield interesting results as opposed to my 4x6 tube.

When I cleaned my stent two days ago, I saw a huge mucus plug in inside it, and I wonder if that had been sitting in there because of the retrograde ejaculation. It didn’t affect anything and likely would have dissolved and expelled on its own, but I think going forward after sex I need to clean the stent at the earliest opportunity and not put it off. now, all that is meaningless when compared to the joy I have of wetting uncontrollably throughout the day. If I dont have a diaper on or under me I will dribble on the floor. When I was having “relations” I had to have a bed pad under us. If I don’t have a change with me I will have wet pants and I have had several accident along the way in which the diaper could not keep up and I would leak. This happens a lot when I get up from sitting for a period, especially after driving, and gravity pulls a ton of urine down into the diaper: a literal flood without any pushing. Speaking of pushing. I have noticed I need to go #2 as quickly as I can when my stent migrates all the way in. The reason being is that when I am pushing out a large amount of urine to expel the stent back into the urethra, I will also be pushing the same muscles as my bowels and a couple of times I had to abandon pushing the stent out to avoid crapping my pants in public. Still, it’s good to know that I do not have to go to the ER for a migrated stent. It has consistently and predictably come out a dozen or more times. This, my stented life, is safe and plays out as I am incontinent, which I am when stented. So much fun. I can’t tell if this is 5 or 6 weeks with this stent, only out for quick cleans and then reinsertion, but for sure over a month. After this long with no trauma or variances, my plumbing does not even register it is there 95% of the time. The other 5% are when I sit on a hard surge and the stent is readjusting or in the morning when I am peeing it back into position after its nightly migration. How did you manage to explain the need for a bed pad under your wife during relations? How much urine do you leak during sex? Is she aware that you are stented and want to become incontinent? How does she feel abut it. I know these things can be a delicate subject? 1
Spargano Posted October 3 Author Posted October 3 Oddly enough, she was the one suggesting the bed pad because she wanted my diaper off. She’s aware of the stent but I am not sure to what level of usage. She does not know I am seeking incontinence. I told her my prostatic stent assist in flow, keeping things even as opposed to large surges that overwhelm my protection. She was ok with that and just insisted I be careful and keep everything clean. She trusts me to know more on these sort of subjects so she doesn’t pry too much. as for how much leaks during sex, some but not a lot. The prostate kind of limits urine production and then, the stent tends to drift in a little during contractions making it less leaky overall. Now, I have not experimented with a full bladder to see what would happen, but with less in me it is not a waterworks situation. I would need more events to gauge normalcy.

Where do you get yours from?

Spargano Posted October 9 Author Posted October 9 Time for my weekly update 😁. While my stent works great I would like it to work a little better in bed and during sex. To that end, I built a new one that is 1mm longer between anchors, 6.5cm as opposed to 6.4cm. After 4 days I can say It performs a hair better than my previous model. it was strange building it as I have not built a new stent in almost 6 weeks. It’s kind of surreal knowing that any changes will be minimal and I can enjoy my incontinence fully. while I didn’t notice a huge difference in my stents in their comfort and effectiveness, at the very least, I now have two stents and one can be cleaned and ready to go when the current stent pops out so that there is no downtime whatsoever in remaining stented. ChatGPT suggests that I lengthen the gap between anchors 0.5-1.0 cm to help stop the issue of pulling into the prostate during an erection. I may try that down the line.

I think the section of the urethra between the two sphincters stretches considerably when the bladder expands. Therefore, the length of your stent may not be enough to keep both sphincters open in that case. During erections the swelling of the erectile tissue beneath the outer sphincter tends to push the stent upwards into the bladder. The hooks of my stent keep the distance between the sphincters roughly the same when the bladder expands and keep the stent hooked in the outer sphincter during the swelling of the erectile tissue. I do feel the tension the hooks cause on the bladder floor when the bladder fills and under the external sphincter during an erection. It's not painful, but noticeable. 1
Spargano Posted October 9 Author Posted October 9 @cathdiap that tracks with what ChatGPT was telling me. Essentially the stent is perfectly tuned to bridge the sphincters in normal wear, but an erection changes that distance. I am just torn on lengthening the stent that much to deal with a once in a while issue that could transmit to the daily comfort. Still it doesn’t hurt to try it. ChatGPT even suggests that it might also fix the issue of migration when sitting on very hard surfaces. I guess my reticence is that because my tuned retrieval line sits fully in the urethra I will have to deal with whatever discomfort arises for potentially 2-3 days. I could just not cut my line to length during testing but I wonder how accurate the feel will be as my stent equilibrium depends on the line free flowing in the urethra with no tug
cathdiap Posted October 9 Posted October 9 @Spargano I really hope you find that magic length to keep your sphincters open under all circumstances without causing any discomfort. 1
Spargano Posted October 15 Author Posted October 15 Fun times… what do you do when you are in a very leaky diaper that is at capacity, you go to your office to change, open your bag expecting to see 1-3 diapers and there’s nothing there…!? You’re stented so it’s not like you can take out the stent and go commando… I did a mad scouring of my office and Lo and behold. . . Size 6 pampers…. That were once intended for stuffers. So I put one of them under me and buttoned up my body stocking (onsie). This will not last long, but hopefully long enough until i can get a change from my car, which has a whole unopened bag. incontinence is a fun adventure as you try not to drench your pants 😂. 1
Spargano Posted October 18 Author Posted October 18 What a trip… I went to New York from Chicago for a conference. The stent performed marvelously on the plane both coming and going. In fact I leaked badly on the trip there and was very happy I planned ahead and packed an extra set of clothes more than I needed. however, the conference chairs… man…. That’s a fresh hell for two things. One, the hard surface of the chair kept pushing the stent up the prostate and causing me to have to keep peeing it out and readjusting in the restroom. My diaper barely got used as a result which was annoying, but the bigger problem for me is my tailbone is extremely sore after sitting in it for so many hours. I need to think of something to sit on that will not cause so much pain. I am just glad to finally be home, take some advil, change into a fresh diaper and lay down.
Spargano Posted October 22 Author Posted October 22 So a good conference trick if you can’t change or carry your diaper bag is to carry several baby diapers. I used them as stuffers and this greatly assists. I was able to step into the bathroom, exchange the baby diaper with a new one and dispose of the used diaper in the trash while my main diaper remained largely dry. a problem I am stil dealing with is migrating stent when seated on a hard chair…. But it’s not the worst issue. Just pee it out and reset it. 3

I imagine disposal is a lot less conspicuous too - if anyone cares enough about what we throw in the bin in the men's room! The problem of migration is always annoying (as we know all too well), but I think it's great that you have so much confidence in your stent design that you'll simply be able to pee it out of your bladder - that in itself is a good design feature 😁 1
Spargano Posted November 7 Author Posted November 7 Been a minute since I updated so I thought I would post. Of late my stent of choice is 6cm between anchors 7-7.5 total length. When standing it works amazing. However I still have issues when seated on hard surfaces and it migrates at night so I have not gotten a bedwetting situation yet. I have experimented with adding a plastic collar inside the stent to try to pinpoint where the pinch is occurring that pauses flow when supine or on my side/belly. i am heartened to hear @rick50 made the successful design. I have toyed with that idea and just haven’t tried it yet.
