Chris_jr10
I always loved to see Dippy at the Natural History Museum in London and have some dinosaur models from when I was younger (in law). Link to comment
Little BabyDoll Christine
For me, it began in late December 1956 at age 11, shortly after Xmas. I was lying on the couch that had one end near the wendow, and I was reading. In walks my uncle (surrogate father, of sorts) and drops a couple of small packages on me (literally). Each was a small plastic bagwith a cardboard top of red, white and dark indigo. I had seen a few dino's in pictures but they were mostly the long-necked ones or the one with the triangular spikes on their backs. Each pack contained the same thing. 8 items each about 5" long; two red, two green, two yellow on grey and one pale blue. The back of the cardboard top of the package showed each and gave the name. The tw reds were T-Rex, "parasaurolophus [it was actuall saurolophus]", the two green were pleteosaurus and "pterodactyl [actuall Rhamphorhyncus]" the yellows were Brontosaurus and Dimetrodon, the grey was Stegosaurus and the pale blue was Triceratops. Well, that started me off and I have been a dino hound ever since. My fave is the Carnegie Collection but I will grab up most anything I see that looks real; especially in the 1:4oth scale. I have them in all sizes Link to comment

Autiesaurus
I'm autistic and dinosaurs are my special interest, I know everything about them. I've been obsessed with them for several years now, the parasaurolophus is my favorite. Last night my friend, who's also autistic, and I had a three-hour conversation about them, it was awesome.
