I'm in agreement with PaddedPat and others about this guy. It's clear that he has mental issues that need to be addressed, and that simply throwing him behind bars isn't a solution to his problem. It also sounds like this guy might not be as harmful as he's being made out to be, and that law enforcement is just trying to keep him locked up instead of actually providing the psychological help he so desparately needs. Of course, that's what happens in a country that has a large for-profit prison system. We jail people because it's easy, not because it's the right way to handle what they've done.
