Measuring Pampers

One day when I was bored, I measured and took some pictures of Pampers to see how big they really are.

The Pampers USA diapers are size 5.

And then I opened my only package of first generation Pampers Cuisers size 7.

The Grocery Shrink Ray strikes again. The same reason a "gallon" of ice cream is only 3.5 qts now. They charge the same price, but you just get less.

Also Subway™ was just recently outed about their "footlong" subs being only 11".

As a parent of twins and constantly looking for the best deals on diapers. Different stores carry different qualities/box. Boxes are not shrinking, instead they carry different size boxes. From a consumer point of view it makes it a bit more difficult when trying to decide which are the best price.

I ordered a box of 100 Pampers 7 Diapers. Then I saw that "Toy's Я Us" has size 7 with only 88 in a big box..

Wonder if they're shrinking?

They're shrinking if the real 88 pack is the same shape as the 100 pack and not more of a cube.

..............That's different. Subway's subs are 11" because they really do shrink when they're cooked. The report was laughable because resturants always measure the weight and length of food before and not after cooking when labeling menus. What Subway is going to do now is make 14" "footlongs" that will shrink to 12" when cooked.

My waist size is 76-81cm so would pampers cruisers size 7 fit me or would size 5 fit me better, I don't know for maths was never my strong point
