They take some cells from your bladder, grow them in a lab for a few weeks around a bladder shaped mold, then transplant it into you. There's no risk of rejection because it's made from your own cells. Might be good news for some people here.

I read the very same somewhere else today... cool beans. I wish it had been a reality six years ago. I had a cystoplasty (bladder enhancement) using a ten inch section of lower intestine to control urinary reflux. What a friggin' nightmare that was and I'm still getting fallout from it. But I did the BIG GULP of bladders (a 20 ouncer)... now only if I could control it...
