What Happened To My Avatar?

Been offline for awhile but I noticed at coming back here that apparently the forum software has been updated. Only now my avatar, which is an oblong image, is stretched to make it square. Looks awful. A workaround would be to fill it with blank sides to keep the aspect ratio right but maybe it can be fixed in the forum? Mine's not the only distorted avatar, surely there have been more complaints?

All of them are distorted (except mine, lol), best bet is to re-upload it.

Compared it to the image's actual dimensions, though:

(90x68px) and displayed as your avatar at 90x90px.

I had to edit mine (which was originally only about 16x20px to add a huge white border around it then re-upload.

It seems that the board doesn't like ANY non-square avatar pics. This is one of the many things that needs to be fixed.

Yup--just like in life, as soon as someone tries to change something in the name of "improvement," it gets all screwed up. My avatar is all squished. Please--that little VW is short enough in real life without a web site making it any shorter!
