This company has an extremly large selection of PVC and rubber items of which I am only familiar with a few. the Beta and high-waiste Christy in both palstic and rubber, the "sanitary slips" which make nice off the shoulder babydolls and plastic and rubber sheeting.

ITEM:#060 Beta High Waist Diaper Pants; Plastic

MATERIAL: PVC: mostly Smooth, soft, semi-transparent pearlescent medium thickness and would not stand up well to being worn close to the body RATING: 8

ELASTICS: medium wdith but a bit scratchy. RATING: 7

MEASUREMENTS: The sides are about 14" at the shortest point from waistband to legband and the crotch is about 14" at the narrowest point.

SHAPE: Very full cut. a size L covers my doubled very thick cloth diaper with room to spare. If you are near the upper size limit, get the next one up. RATING: 9

SIZE: Small for waist 26"-38" (66cm-97cm) and hips to 38" (97cm).

Medium for waist 29"-42" (74cm-106cm) and hips to 42" (106cm).

X-Large for waists 45" to 65" (115cm-165cm) and hips to 65" (165cm

NOISE: Some but not much RATING 5 (with 10 being a rustle/crinke fest fantasy). While that is fair to middling for babyishness it may be too much for other purposes

LEAKS: As long as the elastics are good, they are negigible. RATING: 9, To be sure, like any, they can be over-wet or worn with too-thin diapers.

COLORS; Frosted RATING: 1

PRICE In USA, US $ 8. In Canada, Can $ 8. Other countries, US $ 10 (8 euro).

NOTES:

These are sewn at the sames and elastics. They can come undone but are easily fixed with a spot of "Marine GooP" and the elastics can partially unravel but that is rare

A. C. Medical claims that their products are specifically for disabled persons and they are not "fashion items". However, a look at their product lines of which there are many and varied, might make you question that as would the large number of pictures of their merchandise. Also the owner seems to be more knowledgeable about the details of the materials than disinterest would suggest as well as the fact that many of the panties have feminine names (about which I have never gotten any answers) and he liked two of the babydolls I designed, On a picutre and the othe one that I sent him. I was also told by one of the model who had her own sites, in a roundabout way about 7 years ago that the owner enjoys what he is doing which is the closest to a direct answer I have gotten. They operate under special tax and postage laws that require them to advertise as strictly for disabled persons and the majority of what they sell like "short medical pants" and various diapers, fit into that category. What can I say except BE DISCREET and you will be well served!! All that I have is much circumstantial and some hearsay evidence.

PAYMENT: A. C. Medical accepts PayPal, which is a big plus. THE POSTAGE FEE IS, FOR ORDERS TO USA, US $ 14 PER PARCEL (NOT PER GARMENT). FOR ORDERS TO CANADA, CANADIAN $ 13. FOR ORDERS TO OTHER COUNTRIES, THE POSTAGE FEE IS US $ 18 (or 15 euro) PER PARCEL. RATING 3 TO 10; depending on how you order

COMMENTS (LOOK & FEEL, ETC): Given the wide range of users of "rubber panties", it is often the case that plastic pants are evaluated on "babyishness". If you are not interested in that, then this next part is not for you. if you were a baby, toddler or wore diapers anytime between 1952 and 1984, and your parents were moderately prosperous and did not use panties made from the cheap grainy material, chances are, you wore "rubber panties" made of material that was smooth and fairly thick, Thse are more like 1970-85 Empire with a medium thickness. In this category, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Head to head with real baby panties;

the Gerber panties that are put on my dollies Andrea Lynne and Lisa Michelle

As you see, the Beta panty comes pretty close however, much of your idea of babyishness depends on when you were little. So if you need good "rubber pants" from 1952 to 1984 for a baby, toddler or little consider The A. C. Medical Beta. Being semi-transparent pearlescent, this would go very well over a print diaper and add a bit of luster RATINGdepending on your taste. If you want to be "stealth", these are not for you.

Most A. C Medical High-Waist Diaper panties score fairly high in most of the categories and the Beta is no exception. so I give an overall rating Good. to Very Good.

I've found AC Medical products worth the price :) but they are not in the 'premium' range  As best I can tell, they have a fair amount of turn-over in their sewing department. I've seen the seam straightness from OK to horrible; the elastic tension consistency the same; and the same panties in different colors fitting fairly differently because they came from different batches :( Don't get me wrong- I'll buy there again and gladly :D- but don't expect more than you pay for here. Also don't expect rapid receipt of your order- apparently they sew some things only when they are ordered (and maybe they even wait till they have several to sew) before they ship <_< They are a bit slow about responding to emails too. Another thing to watch for is sizing, which for me varies a good amount from one style to another. I can wear some smalls but not others which I can hardly get on. Some mediums are a near-perfect fit while others are a bit loose

The biggest plus with them is their astonishing range of styles- maybe more than all the rest of the makers combined  and their bargains on their close-out styles :angel_not: Do read carefully all their comments and suggestions- they are bluntly honest about some things they carry but do not make themselves being poor quality and they truly are, but if you read the description you won't get burned. As to their clear attitude of their products not being intended for fetish wear, it is my understanding that they once had problems with the Canada's pornography laws (or something similar) which is why they emphasize the 'medical' aspect so strongly :whistling: Like here, there is a line you cannot cross without having big legal problems so you do what you must to avoid that :fish_h4h: Another related issue with them is this: There will be a conspicuous small red customs label on parcels leaving Canada stating the package contains "Medical Garments"- they state this clearly but not widely- it's there on the shipping questions page if you look for it  They cannot ship without this label, but otherwise the shipping is otherwise plain and discreet. Which brings me to my last comment- this is a big website with lots of pictures and it is somewhat clunky to search unless you already know what you are looking for.

AC Medical is one of my faves mainly because of the superb prices when you order several pair at once to save on shipping B) They are one of only a few that still offer real rubber panties  , not just thin latex ones. I have been satisfied that I got what I paid for every time with them, and I can't say that about some other suppliers I've dealt with.

Actually, I designed this and the Comco posts to demonstrate the improtant attributes of rubber panties for the new review site (MATERIAL, SHAPE, PRICE, MEASUREMENTS , etc) more than as actual reviews.. For ecample in 1985, DPF'ers were in love with Lang, Panties I tried them, the material felt like sand paper, Ditto the "baby Heaven" panties so needless to say, those were the last pair of each that I got, they would get a low rating with me. A.C. also claims that the smooth plastic is easier to keep sanitary because the "grain" in the grainy or "embossed" material provides a shelter for bacteria and other nasty things, which I surmised before that. Also graininess was accociated with cheapness, read inferior. in the 1980's BabyMates came in two kinds smooth and grainy and there was a 20 cent difference and the grainy baby panties tended to deterioruate much faster than the smooth ones over the last 50+ years

With regard to their site being big. I have told them that a couple of times and that it would be best if they put the new items on a "New items" page and subdivided even further but so far, to no avail

I have been a customer for about 17 years. I wash shocked to see how much bigger their online catalog is or was compared to their printed one. If the company is sold, I hope the new management will follow the same proceudures as the current,. I was looking for something they did not have a year or so ago and they referred me to Kins, whom they praised to the sky (I did not find it there, either)

The quality of rubber has changed, what they use is what would be termed "flower petal", not a smooth as the rubber form 60 years ago and with a more flower petal feel to it and not shiny like 60 years ago. Some day we need a rubber sheet shootout. The best rubber sheeting I have seen in the last 30 years was from JK but even that was a bit uneven. sometimes smelling like tires and sometimes like tha classic baby rubber sheets and the pink was real girl pink and not the raspberry pink of A.C.'s

About 15-23 years ago there was a Canadian company that did rubber clothes and things called Rubbertree Rainwear with some AB items but the last time I spoke with the owner some 15 years ago, he was pushing 70 and I cannot find them on the web

Here's some more info on Beta pants. I found out several years ago that AC Medical bought them half-made, in other words they were cut as the high-waist pants and sewn on the sides, lacking only the waist and leg elastics. When I discovered this, I asked if I could get them custom-cut to different heights, figuring this would be easy for them as they could just cut them to the side height I wanted before they sewed on the elastics. This indeed turned out to be the case. At that time I had several pairs of standard-height beta pants with wide elastics at the waist and standard leg elastics - #042 in the AC Medical catalog. These have a side seam about 6 to 6 1/2 inches high. I ordered some with the side seam an inch higher and some with the side seam an inch lower. I ended up really liking the lower-cut ones - they feel almost like a bikini-cut but not quite so tight. I'd suspect that Rearz would custom-cut these too - I've found Laurie easy to work with on other semi-custom orders.
