Abu Bmx Diaper

Wow $120/case - too expensive for me especially for the poor quality and absorbency that goes along with ABUniverse. Maybe if they were cheaper.

yes overpriced but cater to one's inner child!. if only dry 24/7's or other top absorbent products would have designs ABU has then I'd be all over those. but theres nothing a booster pad can handle

Topic cleaned of unfounded accusations and correlations.

Sales went live.

Good job.

Never mind all that "walks, talks, and quacks like a duck" stuff. <_<

If one were to post cropped kiddie porn - well sure that would be a problem. The picture in question however is not kiddie porn, and it is only irrational paranoia that makes some see it as kiddie porn - hence the apparent attempt at cleverness with a screw face which is nothing more than a failed quip at making a point that is moot. The photo is merely a legitimate and legal marketing tool for a product that it appears ABU will also be offering - so what is the problem?

I agree with you.

Pamper, Huggies, Luvs and all the major and minor brands of baby diapers, training pants, and bedwetting underwear almost always have an image of someone who is obviously a minor wearing them. Sometimes the kids are even on toilets and often, only wearing the diaper. If the theory goes that a picture of a minor wearing a diaper and displayed on a website or thread is "kiddie porn" then we must remove any photos also in the photo section that have any non adult diapers in them. If there's a picture of a baby, toddler or minor child on the packaging in the backgrounds of photos then they must be removed too. Baby diapers worn by adults means pedophilia too right? :screwy::bash: NO!!!! Point here is this is NOT kiddie porn and is a marketing tool. Nobody is commenting on the looks of the child or that sort of nature that WOULD make it illegal. THAT would be wrong. It's also where the image is placed. It's not in some line-up of a bunch of minors for people to ogle over. No, so everyone who things that ABU is now a "bad" company for this and/or thinks this is pedo then do this to yourself :bash: a few times and wake up and smell the coffee. Some of you are like Piranhas about this stuff. Sheesh.

Anyway, on to the topic here. I am kind of disappointed as I was hoping for a "true" pull-up and not a "look-a-like". Sure, may look like a pull-up but at the end of the day....it's not! I saw someone post that it'll be a couple years before that happens. Dang, had my hopes up for some adult sized goodnites only to be let down. :( Guess I'll wait a little longer but these new diaper prints I do think look nice! I'm happy to see the dual tape tabs each side actually. Not sure how others feel about that.

As far as the pricing goes. Yup, what do you expect. $1.67 each for Larges at the case price which is exactly what I pay for a plain looking Abena L4. Each have somthing the other one doesn't so it's a trade off on what you want. New ABU BMX's are a premium price for a premium item. Notice: I did not say premium product as we are all aware they performance wise aren't a bambino(or one of the 18 different but same diapers under a different label), abena, molicare or similar. If you're looking for something for total functionality and everyday use, may not be your cup of tea. If you're looking for a decent diaper, printed and more of a novelty, this is your ticket.

PEOPLE: You need to keep in mind what this product is for and what it's about as well as many of the other ABU products in the line-up. I've never heard so much negativity from so many people in the ab/dl community about something one of the very, very few companies who are trying, day after day to come up with new products, just for our small community. And yet there's constant whining, complaining and b!tching about what they produce and how much they cost! Bunch of ungrateful 2 year olds opening there x-mas presents with nothing but negativity is what it sounds like at times. Not supporting a company like this will not enable them to continue to come out with newer and even better products down the road. There's always the possibility for better products. We may have to just take what we can get and what's available to us at this time. Just my two cents here.

Okay adrian. What would you pay for these then?

PS. Do you always complain about the prices, absorbency and quality of ABU?

The difference here is that pampers, huggies, luvs, ect. arent marketing their products for an adult fetish community.

ABU is using a child in the promotion of adult fetish content.

I think we are done with this line of discussion... maybe

Anyhow - I wonder how they compare in performance compared to their other lines of Super Dry Kids - and omg, is that inappropriate to have the word kids on your adult diaper? and Cushies. ABU does not really comment on their performance profile. Not sure about the bikes, etc - can't really see them on the landing strip very well... but I think whenever mediums come out I would give them a try. If they perform the same or better than SDK or CUshies, then I think they are worth it to add a different look to the diaper collection. Unleash the piranhas..

ABU sells Tiger underwear which is available in youth to adult along with I believe they use to sell Underjams(maybe wrong). So because they market a youth product they are promoting child...??? What?

If a fetish store sells a package of Pampers, then they are pedo's too I guess then. Huh. Think that's a bit streeeeeeeeeeetched.

Ok, a little FYI here, Adrian is incontinent, so she HAS to wear no matter what 24/7 no choice. So for her the dollar value vs performance is a major issue. unlike the majority of us, who wear for other reasons, and the cost is not as important, since this is more of a 'hobby. There are those of us who feel comfortable spending for what we (think) we want, and the cost isn't that important.

Adrian is just value conscious about something that she HAS to use on a daily basis, and that is important.

The cost per piece of the 'new' BMX product per 80 piece case =

1.49/ each sm

1.67/each lg

For something that (for me) performs about as well as depends products, I'd pass, as the added expense for some fancy design isn't worth the mark up. I pay for performance, not looks, so in this regard, most if not all ABU products FAIL to attract my attention, much less my dollars.

Compound that with questionable advertising and marketing etc, and attempts at using alternate products (boosters from industrial absorbent pads)

this all compounds my distrust and dislike of the company as a whole.

Some of you might like to toss your money away on inferior products and pay a company for questionable marketing and scams, I'll pass.

If you REALLY want to throw money away, heck toss it my way! :D I like free money just as much as the next guy!

Flame me all you want, it doesn't matter, as far as I am concerned ABU is a non-vendor of choice and i'll stay away and spend my hard earned funds at more reputable businesses for far better products! :P

The DIFFERENCE is pampers, huggies, luvs and similar are for mostly for babies, toddlers and bedwetters. And they are offically licensed products. So is their website. And they don't put ABDL's on their websites, nor does incontience forums even. Nothing stopping ABDL's wearing say pampers though.

But have altered pics of a minor on an ABDL website is plain sick, and gives us a bad name. And I'm not sure how offically licensed abuniverse now is. Pampers for instance is known worldwide and has been since the 60's.

Most of the diapers ain't under their brand name, they're just an online store.

If they can't model small sized diapers say youth XL on normal sized adults. Then why can't they pay some willing adult midgets, sounds mean but least they are adult.

Or last but not least, human sized tailors dummies(mannequins).

Like this even could be used:

Human shaped inflatable mannequins. ^^^

I'm still waiting for someone to properly proportion an AB diaper. The ABU stuff has always peeked my curiosity, but I've always been hesitant to buy them because I'm also in the camp of "a diaper should work, REALLY REALLY well above all else" and the "look" of the diaper is second place to it's performance. My brand of choice is Bambino, but even those should be thicker to be more realistic. I know they swell up pretty well once their wet, but when you put one on, it should be proportionally as thick as an old school baby diaper was (in the eighties). IMO they should start off 1/4" thick or thicker, DRY. I enjoy a good padded butt when I put a dry one on at first, and a dry bambino WITH 2 stuffers is about as thin as I like them to be. Do any of the ABU products perform as well as the Bambino ones do? Like I said, I WANT to try them, but if they admittedly don't work as well with multiple all night wettings and initial flooding, then it's not worth it to me to try them just because they look amazingly like baby diapers. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.

I shouldn't complain, because I grew up wearing a thick, white, plastic backed diaper until I was about 6, when the Luvs with printed landing zone tapes came out (still pre-cloth like cover), but I remember being a child, standing in my basement, building with lego or something, with a SOAKING wet heavy droopy Luvs and a tee shirt on. I remember coming home from school with a heavy wet barney Luvs on with a diaper doubler in it! My mother refused to let my stubbornness and refusal to train keep me from attending school on time, so when I went to kindergarten, she hid it by not telling them, and warning me to do the same. But by the time I would come home, the diaper and the doubler would be soaked to the point that another ounce would cause an embarrassing leak.. and I think I knew that was about to happen and I would hold it until I would get home and get a change, because often times I would get changed, and as soon as my mom would have the last tape closed I would explode and soak the new one, which is why I would often be in a single diaper until dinner time and I have such fond memories of playing with a soaking wet diaper hanging between my legs. Wow, now that I've gotten completely off topic..

bottom line is, do any of the ABU's work as well as a Bambino with a stuffer inside? I like the looks of ABU, but I'm afraid of the performance.

Lol - the lady in that video looks totally bored.... terrible production.

but maybe funnier that you lost your superior moral high ground by using the term midget. Perhaps you are only a recent matriculant into the Diaper Academy of False Theology (D.A.F.T.) and have not yet acquired the necessary tools to maintain false constructs of ABDL morality.

Thanks for the video - was actually pretty funny - like something from 1982.

Personally I like ABU better than Bambino - they do not have the capacity that Bambinos do but the tapes are way better... I also think moisture acquisition is better in ABU - but I have no objective proof to that so can't say that for fact. Besides - Bambinos hold too much for everyday use for me - seems like a waste unless I am going to pound water to use all the capacity - I like to change more often than typical use Bambinos would suggest.

I love bambinos havent ordered from them usually I order for the winter months, but ABU has better and comfortable leak guards, Tapes, and designs. Absorbency and comfort goes to bambino I much rather wear a bambino to work than a ABU the rustle makes it impossible.

I kind of wish I was that kid though

I am also wondering how much BM these BMX diapers will hold...since they seem to be marketed for that :P

I'm glad ABU is selling something in a small size. That makes them officially the only AB company that is. I would consider buying a sample of these if they came in girly prints. :)
