dlover49
Does anyone out there have any idea how many diapers are sold to AB/DL's? Link to comment
Missy Q
No, but I would imagine it's not even a small hair of the total buyers. Just go to your local hospital, they buy diapers by the truckload. Link to comment
Guest Wetnmessy247
94.3 percent of all diapers are sold to me. As well as 85 percent of the world's baby wipes. Hey ,a messy baby needs to wipe his poopy!! Wink wink. 1 Link to comment
Yvhuce
This is not a quantifiable situation, as it's not a target demographic for most of the diaper companies. And a lot of people who do buy them probly won't admit being an ABDL to the people they buy from, so that would also skew the results. Link to comment
Repaid1
Ask the good folks at ABU and Bambino? Link to comment
Bettypooh
a very small percentage. I'd tend to agree If you look at how many diapers the average incontinent uses, factor in their numbers versus those who are strictly ABDL, and consider how few diapers are actually aimed at this market segment then it seems that at best we're down at the bottom of the single-digit percentile range We may not even rate that high Maybe that's a good thing It allows makers like Bambino's and ABU to maintain a relatively steady output and design strictly for us If they had more competition they might be compelled to tone down our part of the market to remain in business at all As things are now they know we are a small community who speak among ourselves frequently and freely. The must keep quality and service high and they do Their marketing strictly to us means we'll get what we want- that doesn't happen with Molicare, Abena, or the others who aim solely for the incontinent market- the switch to cloth backing is fair proof of that And we still have the option of using the products aimed at the incontinent market, which many of us do So we've got the best of both worlds, and that doesn't happen often in life so enjoy it!
