I never said I didn't help out - as many members know I moderate the forums and photos that come through as well as answer some of the emails. I have stated this before on DailyDiapers (look for yourself). I am a member just like everybody else there (just have moderator status in the forum sort of like some of the moderators do here).

Your means are fruitless because in the end the facts are I make no money there and honestly not much from my "real" job in the real world, to be quite honest.

Your entitled to your opinions but what you are doing can potentially harm a business and that is not right. You should be handling this with Adrian directly, not dragging the rest of the community in your shenanigans.

I don't think anyone has been attacking anyone just been asking for answers. How come the thread has to be locked? What rules are being violated? I mean, some people were concerned, they asked and now they are being told to go away. Isn't the community supposed to help protect itself? If the business is legit, this will ONLY HELP that business, so whats the issue? So far, this business has done nothing to support itself other than to not answer anything and to say this is stupid. What is the truth, are they LYING to us all, YES. Do they do daily photo updates? NO. So therefore, it is false to take your money as such. That is all some people are saying. Do we really care? Not really. Most sites do this. Is AdrianSurley more than likely the administrator of that site and more than likely getting the money, yep. Again, who cares. Just a face to the scammer. Some people just wanted to bring that to public attention so more people didn't get scammed. Why is that a crime?

The question is, is imabdl a scam and is AdrianSurley connected to it or not? If so, do the members of our community have a right to know about it?

Lastly, if our members do not have the right to know about scams then why on the main page of DailyDiapers is there a scam warning that states "we need your help to catch the last few sneaky bastards who are attempting to exploit our community!"?

Ouch - name calling is not appropriate. We have well-paying jobs correct, as in we are lucky to have jobs in this economy and it pays descent, yes. But, in regards to my 'personal' financial opinion of our situation I would say between paying some old hospital bills and student loans that, no, I don't end up making much in that regard. Gosh, you people hide behind your internet yet you want me to reveal everything about my personal life just so some strangers can somehow get this 'proof' they need that I don't make money from some site. I know that my opinion will not be well counted but i must say that toddler pampers post does not prove anything. I have no problem with adrian and i like many others read her blog regularly. If you paid for the site in question and are upset so what. You wasted 10 dollars. When havent you wasted 10 dollars on something that you would regret. I personally agree with DD that this thread should be closed becuase there are two many people who are creating fake acounts to bash on IMABDL, Adrian, or the people who are defending her. I'm not attempting to block anyone from sharing their thoughts. That's why I (A) did not delete the thread and ( Put a clock on it to allow final thoughts. Concerns have been expressed and warnings issued. And those will remain, as well as Adrian's responsed. But I don't want [dd] to become known for bashing other sites as that just leads to other sites bashing us. For that reason I hadn't shared my thoughts. For clarity, i will now:

I joined a former version of IMABDL which closed after a month or so. I did feel cheeted that my "lifetime" membership was for such a short lifetime, but at that time it was 3 or 4 bucks, so I took it.

I joined IMABDL 11 months ago to deal with some copyright issues (Replace photos missing our copyright mark, with the originals.) While not a regular user, my account is still active today. 11 months, 10 bucks. Not bad.

The real concern comes down to the daily updates. Do they update daily: No.

Now notice the name of this site. DailyDiapers. When we started the plan was for daily updates like a newspaper. Didn't work. Life prevented me from always having the time, and readers complained they missed more issues than they saw for the same reason (life.)

The solution, is a simple one: Stop promising daily updates. Aim for 2-3 a week like I try to do; or go to larger weekly updates like many sites use. Don't promise more than you are sure you can deliver. And perhaps offer refunds to those who feel they didn't get their money's worth.

3) If that doesn't work, you post a thread on this site explaining the situation to everyone. You provide all of the evidence you have to support your argument, so that we (as big boys and girls) can all make our own decision whether or not we visit or subscribe to that site in future.

What you don't do is:

1) Invent an alter ego to make your case.

2) Start stalking the administrator and flaming her in every post she makes.

3) Use sarcasm and abusive language to argue your point, whilst stating that you no longer have the details of the scam.

4) Show no evidence of wrong doing, but just keep ranting in BLOCK CAPITALS in the hope that someone will listen.

5) Call everyone else a "Coward" for not taking your side.

6) Say that you are protecting the community, when in actual fact you are just sore because you were gullible enough to hand over money, and had your fingers burned.

If I go into a store and buy a tv that doesn't work properly, I explain the problem to the manager and ask for a refund. I don't don't storm into the store under a false name, call the manager a bitch and rant about them scamming the customers.

Because people aren't just asking a question... what is the question? I think that got forgotten on the first page.
