Loose.. Or Tight?

I've always thought tighter is better and tried to get my diaper pretty snug to avoid leaks.. but lately i've noticed that when I wear it looser it seems to absorb faster and not leak! How do you guys wear, and why?

I used to go for super tight, but I've loosened up just a tad recently.

I generally go for tight. Haven't had to deal with leaks too much.

as tight as possible, but then you have to be careful about the tapes popping. To avoid this, a good wrap around of clear shipping tape helps a lot.

I can't stand a saggy diaper, especialy if they start slipping down. Besides it feels nice when they're tight.

I don't use them, so for me tighter is better.

I guess I would go with just on the tight side of snug. Wearing Molicares with their sideways stretch I tend to pull them beyond what would be a normal end Point. Perhaps about half a tape to a full tape length of stretch. I certainly, as I wear 24/7, need a snug diaper to avoid leaks. I wear normal cut jeans so they tend to hold the diaper up where it's suppose to be. I do find that after the end of a day with pant's off, a very wet one does sag down, which I don't mind as well. Kind of gives me that baby feeling, and surely tips off the wife it's time for a change.

i been useing abrena lately and i have the tapes at the legs sung / tight and the tape at the hips just snug.

Comfortably fitting :-) - tight at the top of the diaper so it hugs my waste and looser by not making the bottom two tapes as tight.

I like mine snug. Not real tight but not loose. I love to soak mine and when they are snug I feel the wetness better.

I tend to think tighter is better. It prevents leaks and the snugness feels more like a diaper. Unfortunately I don't get to wear as often as I like.

Tight is better for me. I can't stand having a droopy diaper trying to slide down my legs I once had my diaper fall down as I walked back from my mailbox. Luckily nobody saw me I felt it slipping so I tried to walk bow-legged to stop it but it slid more. I tried to hold it in place with a hand on the front of my bathrobe, and just as my hand got there a tape ripped through the plastic. Splat! Right there at my feet was a soaked diaper I had to reach down and get the front of it in my right hand, then slide the left side up with my other hand as I held a few letters in my teeth. It would have made for a comical sight I guess, but since then it's t-i-g-h-t and if I think the tapes won't hold I pin or tape over them. I don't want to relive that part of my past

Tight around the waist. loose everywhere else. I use pin-on cloth diapers and they will fall off if not pinned securely.

I wear loose fitting plastic overpants. This lets the diaper breathe.

I love a tight fitting diaper. In fact I normally will wear some of the wifes shape wear over my diaper to hold things in place. This also will cut the sound way down when you need to be quite.

relatively snug, just have bad image of wet diaper plopping on ground as i am walking, plus it feels more liek a diaper when snug.

the ones im wearing now are quite snug, but i think thats because they're a bit too small for me. im gonna try a larger size soon.

i wear my cloth flannel diapers tight. love the feel of the cloth against my body and tight just feels great keeps the right pressure against the right parts to keep me in the aroused mode when ever the feeling is necessary.

snug fitting for me, to tight and they leak too loose and they sag. and i wear depends three tapes, the closest i have to baby diapers.

I generally like fairly snug diapers because I hate leaks and sagginess. At the same time, I leave them a little looser that ubertight so that the pee absorbs better. I deal with the sagginess via onsies or plastic pants. Don't really like my diapers hanging out there for all to see or sliding down.

Wearing a diaper too tight can cause major heat rash sometimes and the diaper can dig into you which is relatively uncomfortable.

I like 'em tight too. I want to really feel like I am wearing a diaper. That said I don't wear them super tight....nowhere near tape popping tight....just tight.

yeah well if you poop you should change. Pee shouldn't give a rash... actually not sur eon that either, but still, change when pooping.

Definitely tight.... but not so tight that I cant breathe. If they are just a tad loose they absorb quicker but won't sag!

Like most here I like wearing my diaper relatively tight. The only problem I have is the tapes pop sometimes which is really really annoying. Also if you get them too tight, like Adrian mentioned, they can dig into your hips which is a tad uncomfortable!
