Neither party has done anything right in the last 8 years, so neither deserves anything. I voted 3rd party in 2004, and intend to either do it again, or exercise my right not to vote because no candidate deserves it.

And for all who say that if you don't vote, you can't complain, you can complain if there is no good candidate out there. If there is no good candidate - as in this year with Obama and McCain, and I haven't yet checked out who is running from minor parties - I won't waste the effort to vote.

Well, as a third party canidate may I suggest Ron Paul. But myself I'm going with this guy:

I'm thinking if that was three beers I would have hate to seen that rant on a 6 pack...Good point's SD. My grandparent's bought their house in two years during tuff times as well, My grandmother was a welder at the shipyards, underwater welder at that! She would constantly tell me, that I was living out of my means. That to her meant if I had my car financed, I couldn't afford it. Her best story was to buy their house her and my grandfather Only ate hamburger for the whole time. Now that's determination. While life can be harsh at times it's the have's that have their shit together. Vote on.

Speaking of men who have no prior experience.......

Resume of G.W.Bush

LOL ya Pete that is completely non-bias.

I think it is always funny how liberals are saying that WE (republicans) are always against the freedom of speech. First off, all that means is you can say something and not be afraid of being executed, it DOESN'T mean you can go out and say any dumbass thing you want to. Also, republicans have made no effort to conceal people's freedom of speech; infact, it is Sen. Obama who has threatened news stations with lawsuits if they air certain political camp commercials stating proven fact about him. To Sen. Obama you get no First Amendment rights if it is against him because he is the Holy One Barack OJesus. If you are against him you are a heretic!

The part that made me laugh the most was the:

"As president I ignored Clinton's warnings about Al Qaeda, mentioning that organization only once in public statements on national security between January 20, 2001 and September 10, 2001. In the same time period I mentioned Saddam Hussein 104 times and missile defense 101 times."

Why did that make me laugh? Because Frmr.Pres. Clinton was offered Bin Ladin's head on a platter multiple times but he said "no."

I think it is hilarious that people think Frmr.Pres. Clinton did anything! I do still maintain he is the funniest president as in more jokes of many different variety have been made from him than anyone else. Only jokes most of these jackasses have been able to come up with in the last 8 years are..."Bush is so stupid......"how stupid is he?"......he is so stupid he drank when he was younger! " HAHAHAHAHA OMFG SO FUNNY HAHAHAHAHA I PEED MYSELF THAT IS SO FUNNY AND ORIGINAL!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

...... <_<-_- get over it guys

It IS completely non-biased. G.W.Bush has somehow got himself known as a worse president than Carter. Worst President ever.

Bin Laden's not the problem. Watch Loose Change Final Cut/Zeitgeist/Fabled Enemies and you'll know he's not on the U.S.'s radar and never really was because we ALL know 9/11 was an inside job. Some just refuse to admit it *cough cough Republican hacks cough cough*

I did just watch that "Loose Change Final Cut". I gotta say alot of info. I took it for what it's worth..someone else opinion. The scientific facts are IMO alittle more than that. The pictures on the scene show no explosives, at least from my view and I've seen my share of bombs and explosives. Seen quite a few building demo's too. It's no plane this, remote planes that. While I do have little doubt that someone somewhere knew of the impending security risk, I seriously have to doubt that the government or President if you will had any knowledge of it. That's just a bit too much to ask any one to believe. His Ass would have been hung on the first tree if there was anything of that nature involved. There isn't somebody that wouldn't have came out about a inside job by now, not just a speculation. Just my take. And no I'm not a Republican, nor am I a sheep. I take things for what they are, then examine them for myself, to form my own conclusions. While some may say those towers couldn't have fallen by "themselves". I say your right, they didn't. Possible or Plausible isn't fact, I deal on facts.

America has been kept safe. There hasn't been another 9-11 style attack.

Bush rightfully went after Saddam Hussein. Many people don't call yellow cake uranium a WMD. I call the active ingredient, in a nuclear bomb a problem.

Bush wants to fix our energy problem but the Democrats don't want us drilling for our own oil.

The mortgage problem was brought on by a Republican mistake. Liberals wanted to ease the requirments to obtain a home and the banks gave in. People bought homes that they couid not afford. The next bad thing was predatory borrowing. People bought homes with no intention of making payments. People bought homes with no money down. It takes a year to forclose so these predatory borrowers get free housing for a year and the bank is left holding the bag.

Here's a better resume......

Oh, and something I love to throw out to anyone who likes "government ' handouts and dependency on government entities (socialism and the like)

"Give a man a fish, feed him for a day, "teach' a man to fish, feed him for a life time"

Chew on that Obama

Ok, I actually took the time to read your original post and gave it some thought. While I do agree that some individuals expect to much from the government for nothing, not all assistance is handouts. For instance pail grants for college is an investment into a highly productive member of society, thus you see good returns on this "free" money. Also, it seemed throughout your post you refer to the poor as lazy, uneducated, unmotivated, and fiscally irresponsible. This is not always the case although it seems to be the standard steoreotype. I would like to point out two points that I feel need to be addressed.

First you refer to Obama as a socialist in his views. While I do not agree with socialism as a form of government some social programs prove to be very productive. For instance public education is a social program that we could not have a thriving economy without. Also, Canada has manged to socialize medicine while still giving individuals who can afford health care the option to pay for treatment instead of using the social program. Why not at least give health care to all of our children? I will agree that Social Security is a farce, you should not depend on the government for retirement. That is your own personal responsiblity. I also do not agree with a lot of the social programs offered by our government, but not all are without merit.

Second, You have had a huge advantage by having a family that is active in investing and trading. I can say from first hand experience a lot of poor people stay poor because of uninformed choice with their money. Their parents never taught them about ecomonics, returns, or letting your money work for you. I had no idea how to invest until I took some college classes. Basically, instead of investing a lot of people who come into money will buy a new car/house whatever with the money instead of investing and using the intrest. I know it seems simple but a lot of people don't realize the importance of investing money wisely. In general I think the tone of your post was somewhat negitive towards those who are poor by blaming them for there situation.

Just my 2 cents though

And who was president when we where attcked on 9/11/01?

I blame both the democrats and the republicans on the issue of offshore drilling for oil.

What is this with people blaming the president when he was in FREAKIN' FLORIDA when it happened????

And there's no way in hell the towers were taken down by a "controlled demolition", cuz there were people in the damn buildings! The only demolition people who would take out a building while people were in it (who have no idea anything was gonna happen to them) are TERRORIST MURDERERS!!!!!

We were attacked because Bush refused to continue the appeasements that Clinton had been doing during his 8 years in the White House. Appeasements which included letting Osama Bin Laden run loose when the Saudi government was trying to hand him over to the US Government. SEPTEMBER 11TH 2001 WAS CLINTON'S FAULT, NOT BUSH'S!!!!!

speaking of 9/11 I remember that day and the days to follow like yesterday, it's burned into my mind as I am sure it is for many others.

One thing I remember clearly and mentioning, was that all you saw on the news and anywhere else was what Bush and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani were doing......not a peep out of anyone else, nothing from Either Clinton or other democrat, they all ran and hid, while Bush cleaned up the %$#@! mess with the Mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani (Republican) and the Governor of New York Pataki (Republican) .......where was everyone else?? all the democrats were off washing the sh*t outta their underwear and getting the pee stains outta their chairs, THATS where!

It took Republicans to clean up the mess the Dems created with their liberal pandering and as said before, "appeasements' to the middle eastern thugs.

Why would we want to go back to that with Obama??

:P

qwack

I remember exactly when it happened and the live news coverage. I was in 7th grade in Texas in a "Graphic Arts" class (computers). Our teacher (hottie blonde) had the tv on and we were supposed to be working on these group slide show projects but we just couldn't take our eyes off of the screen.

All of you "truthers" that are claiming it was an inside job should be ashamed of yourselves! THOUSANDS of INNOCENT AMERICANS died that day for no reason. Clinton ignored bin ladin and just because of their unjustified psycho radical bullshit they killed innocent Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts, and Grandparents.

SOME OF YOU PEOPLE WANT TO VOTE FOR A GUY THAT WILL LET THEIR DEATHS BE IN VEIN AND WILL GO OVER THERE AND APOLOGIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR FUCKING ASSES.

--Square_Duck, I just wanted to reply to your 2:15am post yesterday (I'm not going to "quote" the whole thing), but I want to say EXCELLENT!!! I couldn't have said it any better.

I just want to add, is that I'm one of those who has worked hard thru my life to get where I'm at today: was working at 14. went to college. I didn't have mommy or daddy co-sign any loans that I needed for such things as my first car or my house, I built up my financial base by WORKING--hard. So I ask my country please do not tax me just because of my efforts. Nothing gets me going when it comes to taxes.....what burns my ass is when I see people on welfare and food stamps with 5 kids wasting those food stamps on booze, lottery tickets, and even worse when I see them in the store buying black angus steaks & lobsters with those food stamps (mine & your tax money!) Like you mentioned, I feel the same towards those people>>>GET A JOB!

When it comes to taxes, I don't know what your thoughts are, but I'm for a flat tax (something like 15% or so), everyone one pay their fair share....I don't care if you make $15,000 or $150,000, everyone pay their fair percentage.

I do want to make one commet though, yes I do agree an education is important, but I do know a lot of people (some good friends) who only have a high school, but have become quite well off......by working hard, saving & investing their earned money.

Enough on that (for now) again great post......

And as for 9-11, I'm not got going to rant on my feelings there, but to everyone NEVER FORGET!!!

And speaking of cleaning up"recycled"rubble, can anyone tell me why the Towers Site was never deemed a crime scene? Hmmmmmmm Very peculiar that the scene of one of the world's biggest mass murders was never properly investigated.......I for one am NOT a political sheep. Republican or Democrat...I don't give a shit. They're both fucked up people who just look out for themselves. Until the truth emerges,NEVER FORGET-NEVER GIVE UP-ALWAYS QUESTION AUTHORITY

Link to comment

Pete, I'll give it a go.

Not sure what you consider a crime scene, but I know that there was the largest forensic investigation known to man. That each and every part of the building was gone through labeled and examined, to include the steel trusses and beams, all body parts available down to paper bits.. Nothing was sent overseas for at least a year during this investigation. It was handled by local, state and federal authorities on all levels. Including private firms that donated their time. See the site: http://www.nysm.nysed.gov/exhibits/longter...ts/recovery.pdf

While I might think that shipping over hallowed junk and trash overseas saddening, perhaps others didn't think of it as hallowed..I don't know. I personally as a American wouldn't want to know that something I was sitting or driving in or living in had any of the debris in it....well except for this!!!

http://www.ussnewyork.com/

But just my thoughts and findings so far...yeah it's a fact that politicians are what they are..keep everything open especially your mind...always strive to learn, and be glad your in a country that gives you that opportunity.

LOL ya msnbc doesn't even try to conceal their liberal bias at all anymore and funny thing, their ratings are down in the shitter while Fox News is growing, I wonder why. B)

Seriously, I can't believe that dude is still employed as a media anything, of course he is a joke and no one watches msnbc anymore so it doesn't really matter I guess.

Of course to them, don't question "THE HOLY ONE BARACK OJESUS" or you will be smitten by the drive by media. We can officially mark 2008 as the year that real media bit the big one.

P.S. He sure sounds tough when hes in a news studio surrounded by his teleprompter, I'd like to see him taken down a notch because really deep on the inside he is just a weakling with blinders on.

In all fairness Redneck that was a slip of the tongue. I, PERSONALLY, have never gotten my religious faith mixed up but it can happen and I'd give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. That and lets go after something that was NOT a slip up like him calling Palin a pig.

I love how it's ok for McCain to say it but Obama cannot. Palin is a fuckin' unexperienced cunt. Yeah. I said it. Now what? Lord help us all if McCain gets elected and dies in office. Funny how this country murdered JFK but not one attempt has been made to take out Bush........

At the end of the day square we have to realize that every man and woman has their own opinion, unfotunitly people lack the common sense that everyone deserves respect no matter what their view unless they are stupid and don't know what they are doing (NOT mentally handicapped, just stupid people), or just plain ignorant.

Politics comes from the Greek word Politik that basically means "war"

If someone wants to vote Obama and they have a real reason not just "i want change" or " i have hope for change" then go for it because you have justified yourself enough. The main issue is you need to clear your head about the bs and think about the facts; which unfortunitly, not a lot of people do.

Obama has his case, McCain has his as well.

Many people forget the lessons of the French Revolution. While yes democracy was good, the revolutionary fighters became corrupted and the "Reign of Terror" followed the execution.

Above all else guys, even super Liberals who are pretty out there: Nothing is free, freedom is paid for with hard work, brilliant minds, and blood. History has made this very clear to us many times, and each time we forget, we will be reminded of the price.
