  1. Over the past month I've been playing around with ChatGPT a bit trying to see where it can be useful or not. I know some have tried to get it to write stories... personally I haven't been that impressed by that use. (Though I suspect in a generation or two more that will probably improve!) One thing I have been find it incredibly useful for is generating names and personality traits. I have typically spent a ton of time using random name lists, baby name lists, etc. trying to come up with character names. Today I used "Generate 50 fictional girls first and last names based on popular US baby names in 2022" to come up with 50 names that I chose from for some what I consider to be minor characters in the book. I needed 3 girls, and then 7 guy names, so I did with both and was able to select some decent ones and have put the others aside for when I need them next. (A LOT less time!) I typically do a lot of general sketch info - even for minor characters. So I used this prompt next: "Generate a list of 11 students labeled student 1 to student 11 with a selection of the following values for each: Year (either Junior or Senior), Major (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Portal Physics, Physics, or Mathematics), and height (Values from 9' tall to 12'3")" It did exactly what I needed it to do without any other effort. With the names selected, and these traits selected, I copied into Excel and then into the table in my word document in an amazingly short amount of time. I fully plan to keep experimenting with some of these tasks that I normally go through randomly to see what I come up with. I just wanted to share this with the community in case anyone else spends way too much time on this task. Anyone have other uses they've come up with for it with writing?
  2. I'm actively working on getting more chapters going for my work that's been on hiatus, 'Lights, Camera, ...What?!?' and decided to search for a tool today before I started working on something from scratch like I usually do to compare characters. I came across a site that might be helpful for other writers to come up with some great visualizations of what heights need to be to compare to our plans/goals. https://multmetric.com/ Let's you put in Man/Woman/Child for the types of characters, and then generate a decent comparison image. I wish they offered a few more options for 'characters,' but it does the trick almost as well as the figures I normally figure out proportions with in Photoshop... (And a lot less effort!) It'll even let you do a rectangle too, so if you want to see where an Amazonian Bathtub compares with a character, you can do so! This isn't limited to Diaper Dimension works though, nothing more jarring to me than someone trying to claim that 4'6" adult can get away with being the same height as a 3 year old... (Given your average 3 year old is 38", and the 54" is a ten year old's average height) Anyway, hope maybe this helps someone! Happy writing!
  3. Hello! I'm new here, so I hope this is the right place for this. I'm looking for roleplay partners. I, myself, LOVE online roleplay; and would be so grateful to meet some people who feel the same way! As a roleplayer, I crave detail, story and character development, and realism. I usually write a paragraph (or more) per post, and I don't believe in controlling other people's characters. I can and will play multiple characters, and I love it when my partners can too. ? I am interested in playing a forced diapering / sissification story, and am interested in playing the character being forcibly diapered and sissified. I love mental and emotional humiliation, as well as physical. I can play a dominant character, but will only do so if we're also (simultaneously) playing a roleplay where I'm NOT the dominant character - so don't hesitate to ask. If you're interested, please DM me!
  4. I don't know if this is a thing or I am just over thinking this. Are there rules of using someone's story idea to write a story of your own in? Theres an old writer named Robert who wrote "The baby hotel" stories and I want to write using the same content just different stories in that world. Do I need permission from the writer to do so?
  5. Hi. I am a writer trying to make extra money, primarily to help my fiancee and I move, but also to generally just bring in more money and help anyone with a story they would like written. If you would like to commission me, please visit the link below or message me here. Until the end of this month, all commissions are $5 USD for every 1000 words. https://www.deviantart.com/candak/journal/Commissions-754095448
  6. So, I'm writing again. I reloaded all of my playlists, got together a bunch of new music, and am writing as much as possible where I am while trying to find a job. I normally listen to synthwave, electrowave, retrowave, just a lot of very synth-centric music that has very little, if any, vocals while I am writing, as well as some good instrumental metal if I have a lot of energy. That being the case, I also do some drawing. Not a lot, it's mostly for helping friends or assisting my fiancee with small ideas, but I love listening to a lot of podcasts while I do that, as well as Game Grumps videos. It relaxes me when I can do that together. What do you listen to when you write/draw/make art?
  7. What AB/DL story length do you prefer to read? Flash fiction:
  8. Greetings and salutations my fine diapered friends. I just joined DailyDiapers a few weeks age, though I've been reading ABDL stories for a long time now. I have a few story Ideas bouncing around in my head, but I keep coming up with excuses to never type anything out. The biggest excuse I make for myself is: I don't have a computer. How am I supposed to write on a cellphone? the problem is not that typing a story on a smartphone would take longer than a keyboard. I've got time. What I really need is an App that would allow me to write on my own time & when I'm finished with a chapter I can just Log in, push the click to choose files button, and easily port the chapter to my story in an instant. I also need to be able to write in bold and italics. and the format should be compatible with DailyDiapers obviously. Oh, and it has to be free. Not because I'm cheep. I have my reasons. I would also welcome any other advice from seasoned writers (or readers.)
  9. This is an example of some of the stationery and graphics items available at the RUFFLES 8 RIBBONS GIRLS' HOME. http://sandralyn.net I am deliberately not puttin in a direct link so that you will find your way there which is not hard, and explore along the way. When you get to the "Grounds" the Alise House is the last one there. The first few pages are introduction set the mood and orientation
  10. Came across an interesting article "Pruning Your Work" by Storm Constantine that has some tips on cleaning up a draft, and I just thought I'd share it here.
  11. Seeing that we enjoy writing stories it got me thinking about something, What is everyone's favourite things about writing a story and what is it about writing a story that everyone really likes the most
  12. seeing that the stories that I'd posted so far have got normal size babies in so I have decided to try my hand at writing an ABDL story I have already got an basic idea buzzing round my head and it's going to be about a man who is the same size and height as a normal baby and he get's treated like one his wife, girlfriend I hadn't really decided who he has to call mummy. I'm going to have her a sweet, loving and caring sort but I'm not sure whether or not to have her be a bit mean to him at times. I'm not going to put any thing like him being humiliated in anyway for that isn't really my thing
  13. I was Just wondering is anyone like me do you like to write for fun or cause you are board, cause I mostly like to write for fun or when I'm feeling a bit board and have nothing else to do, I'm one of those writers who sometimes start a new project or continue with something that I have already started, But when I get fed up half way through a story I just leave it for a few days or a few weeks But if no ideas come to me I just start a new story instead
  14. I was just wondering you know if you want to write yourself into a story as one of the characters whether you want to be a mum or a baby. How do you go about doing it cause I want to write myself into a story as a baby aged between 2 - 8 months old
  15. Well, it's been nearly four years since I started "I, Infantilist" and after all the hard work and juggling Graduate School and a lot of personal issues, I have finally finished writing it! It's 62,802 words right now, and just hit the 175 page mark in my Word Document. For those of you who haven't read it, here's the link: http://www.dailydiapers.com/board/index.php?showtopic=11627 I feel slightly bad about not finishing it in a more timely manner, but I still intend on attempting to get this published, as the feedback I've received has been excellent overall, and the combined view count from the sites I have it on is almost 60,000. It's been a long run, folks, but it's finally finished. I'm hoping to continue some of my other ideas pretty soon! Dr_J
  16. I wrote a non-diaper related Christmas Story based on the The Cobbler and the Christmas Guest, which I recently wrote. The story was actually based on the Christmas Song, and I changed the characters to make it more modern, and order. I sent it to a friend to review and proof read, before I was going to publish it (only on Facebook, but I still want a second set of eyes looking at my work). Anyway, she reviewed it and saw some analogies to the Nativity story, which were likely due to the analogies in the original story. However the interesting thing is that I never realized those connections when I was writing the story, or even thinking it up (it has been in my head for quite some time). I was just writing about a character in my head who used to love Christmas, hated Christmas because he lost his family and was now alone, and the LORD promises to come on Christmas Day. I wonder how much of the analogies and connection in fiction is intended by author, and how much of it just perceived by the reader who creating his/her own visual image in the story? Did Hemingway intend for Old Man and the Sea to be about a guy and a fish, or did he intentionally create the allegory to Jesus dying on the cross? In a lot of the really good stories on this forum have connections to real life situations (not just the regression aspects). Part of what made Mimi's Struggle so enjoyable to read was the connection between Mimi and her friends, who had grown up with out her. A Change For Naomi has all kinds regarding mother/daughter stories, as well as the various characters representing traits that each of us possess, but in extreme fashion. Kaycee represents pure unconditional love, Ha-Ha represents demanding and unforgiving, while Mary represents a misguided conformist. The same thing can be said for Phone Conversation.
