Since about 2007 I have had several eye problems: Among them were visual hallucinations tentatively diagnosed in 2013 as a mild, atypical form of Charles Bonnet Syndrome (prononnced Bonnay; not bonnet all you LG's) See the YouTube link Also I was operated on on April 5 2011 in the form of a corneal transplant with a lens inmplant All of this took place at Tufts University Medical in Boston MA. The Surgeon who did the operation was familiar with all my other activities there and the CBS Last September, when I was at her office for a routine checkup I did a parody of MY BONNIE LIES OVER THE OCEAN about this Syndrome that went thusly This syndrome makes me see the ocean This syndrome makes me see the sea So clearly that I'm getting seasick and what I eat won't stay in me Hey Zack take back This Charles Bonnet Syndrome from me Take it away I want to believe what I see Last night as I lay on my pillow last night as I lay on my bed I saw something straight out of Lovecraft I'm starting to wish I was dead Hey Mack take back This Charles Bonnet Syndrome from me Take it away I want to believe what I see If you could see just what I'm seeing Like butterscotch scorpion pie and dancing squids wearing tiaras I'm certain that you'd start to cry Hey Jack take back This Charles Bonnet Syndrome from me Take it away I want to believe what I see She had me do it again so she could record it on her smartphone Well, yesterday I had another appointment. Into my shoulder bag along with my tablet, phone and other things I put one of my tiaras, hoping to get more mileage from my previous visit and that she remembered last September. When I walked into the office she said "Well, here's our singer" I said "I thought Charles Bonnet Syndrome was hallucinatory and not real" and she said "Well yes..." I whipped out the tiara and said "And the Calamari was pretty good, too, Of course the chorus line is short one squid, but who cares?"
