Even after unpotty training for years there are a lot of times where I can sense I have to go, and I suspect if I tried to use the big boy potty I probably would have made it, but I just sort of give up because I have a diaper on and besides I'm unpotty training. Though there are plenty of other times where I know for sure I wouldn't make it to the toilet even if I tried. And there's a lot of times where I'm really not sure if it was involuntary because I didn't really try. Obviously it's a continuum and a dynamic one at that. Incontinence itself is a spectrum and contextual. And I realize it doesn't really matter. Still, I'm curious what others think... Do you find there are times when you aren't sure if you had an accident because you just sort of give up on holding it in? Bowel or bladder, I suppose it doesn't really matter.

Hello everyone: I am curious - Yesterday, I had to use the diaper and I peed in it, but in the process, I must have flooded out, because I think I exceeded the Diaper's capacity. I just let loose, and soon the diaper filled up, and I was leaking out of the plastic pants, onto my legs - it was running down them at a pretty good clip. Wondering what I should do to make sure that whatever I release stays in the Plastic pants or diaper until I change it - should I be doing something different? Brian (Thank You to Elfy, for moving this back where it is supposed to be ~brian)

Hi, I have been wearing diapers for 9 years now. I have intersystal cystitis, which is a very painful disease where the inside of my bladder is raw and inflamed. It causes great pain and bladder spasms. I have been managing this disease with diapers and some medication. The traditional meds didn't work for me, but I am taking flomax and another for nerve pain. I joined this site because I wanted to make friends with others who wear diapers and to be able to talk about it openly. I am married and have 4 boys, they all know about my diapers, but I don't talk about it with them. Over the years I have grown to like diapers. I am not a "diaper lover" so to say, maybe a "diaper liker," but out of necessady. I think diapers are very cute and adorable. I enjoyed the time when my boys were in diapers. My youngest (5) was potty trained by age 4 (he took the longest). I have tried many, many, many different diapers and I am always looking for something new and better. I'm hoping that this site will help me with that. I look forward to your support!
