I didn't but mom never minded bringing it up in conversation, I used to sit at picnics and barbeques while she discussed my problems and how much work it was for her having a teenager in diapers, it was not a secret in our neighborhood or at school, not that I got teased much either, I just kept to myself.

Yes, I understand how that works too, if I don't wear something then I end up in wet clothing in public, may as well wave a flag for the entire world to see by that stage, look at me .... Hated that, still do. Thanks for your reply

Thank you very much, I am not so sure about embracing my diapers, i tend to try to wear pullups and pads more these days but still need diapers for bed, I understand that some like diapers but when you have been like me and worn all your life sometimes they can be a bit of a drag, but i appreciate what you said to

The joys of being a woman. In the office my desk is right beside the toilet entrance and my leakage is such that I can survive in a pull-up with a pad inside it, if I go to the toilet every couple of hours I can change the pad and just keep wearing the same pull-up, I only work 6 hour days and can use 2 pads at work and a fresh one in the mostly dry pull-up when I leave work gives me about 3 hours to get home, plenty of time to do groceries or mall etc on my way home. In winter I can wear plastic pants over the pull-up for that additional security. I use cloth at home as it is cheaper and more practical although it does create mountains of washing and in summer plastic pants are not my favorite thing. The other joy.of being a woman is pantie girdles and body shapers are great to hide diapers and pull-ups and have been a part of.my wardrobe since I was a teen. I work 6 hours or more 5 days a week and have been at the same law firm for 11 years and I still don't think anyone has figured out my incontinence.

Yes, that is so correct, she helped herself, myself and made sure i could not get up to anything, there were a lot of angles to me being in diapers, it felt safe, i can never deny that, when you are walking around in public and you have a diaper on i always felt it made me feel more confident when i was younger, it gave me strength, when i got older it was the opposite and i got a bit more love / hate, yes it was good to feel safe, but i would have loved to date and maybe be a little 'unsafe' but that wasn't going to happen with mom in charge of me. As i got older other things turned up, rear zipper PJs and leotards were a big favorite of hers, once those go on you then your diaper is not coming off, not without mom.

I wore until i was 30 and left home, since then mostly pullups or pads, i have a small bladder still, that never changed

Hi Thanks for the reply, i had no idea this place was for more serious discussions, i have always looked at AB as something that i was not interested in, then i find there are some people here who are more serious, and i do feel welcome, thanks. You are totally correct, in my moms eyes (and in mine) it is far better to be in protection rather than running the risk of leaving marks on clothing or even worse, puddles on her car seat (I never got forgiven for those 2 in the car, moms car smelt like pee for ages, and she had no problem reminding me). I never developed much of a love for diapers, a lot of the time i plain hated them, but i needed them too and wore them pretty much continuously right through high school and onto university although i did finally get to change myself once i was at university and could use pullups and lighter protection that was easier to hide. My mom was the opposite to yours, once i was in diapers she liked the protection they gave me, she must have said a million times i was safer in diapers and also better behaved than others, which was true, any time i wasn't at school i was with her at home and i only went out with her for many years, that kind of suited her too, she liked me quiet, under control and safe. Hi Bill Thanks for your reply, You will have to excuse my memory on the ages, i am 49 now and the memory is not as good as it was. I am not sure why i started wetting the bed but i know mom was not impressed and after the second night i soaked my mattress i was put in diapers and a plastic sheet went on my bed, that was the end of that story, mom was never the sort of person you argued with, all that got you was over her knee very quickly and she was not impressed with wet sheets, diapers to bed was non negotiable. I think i was about 9 when i started having daytime accidents, i had a couple of wetting accidents at home on the weekends or in the holidays and moms answer to that was i wore diapers at home for 2 weeks after each accident and if i remained dry for that 2 weeks then i could come out of diapers, that probably happened half a dozen times where i spent 2 weeks in diapers and then came out again, i think i was 10 when when i had my first accident in public, in her car, she was furious that the seat on her car was wet, some time after i wet myself at school, not much but enough to stain my skirt, she had to leave work and come and pick me up, going home in the car i wet again (my memory is pretty clear on that days events!). That sealed it, from then on i wore diapers, mom always said it was not good manners for me to wet in public as it was a nuisance to others and was unhygienic, i started the summer holidays early and had a month off school, then the 6-7 weeks of summer holidays, all in diapers and then when i returned to school i went in diapers, I was 11 at that stage. Mom was really good about it, she didn't embaress me or show my diapers off to others and she helped me to hide that i was in diapers to the best effect but it is not a secret you can hide at school in the long term so other knew, and they hurt my feelings a lot too, there was no chance of me dating and i never had close friends, but i survived too. As far as mom was concerned in diapers meant exactly that and diaper wearer's didn't participate in anything that might have meant not being in diapers, she was very absolute, my mom and any trouble or disagreement from me meant I was over her lap pretty quickly. The school knew I wore diapers and mom organised an exemption from sports and gym, I attended a special class with some other girls and boys that were also exempt from sports etc. Those classes were where I went when gym, swimming or sport days were in.progress, the others in that class were mainly girls and were there mostly for cultural reasons although there was another boy at high school who also was partly disabled and wore diapers. Sometimes there was only a few of us, other times up to 20

I learned this as a teen, if you hold you risk flooding, if you fill a diaper slow and gentle then it is much less likely you will leak, I spent a lot of time learning to leak a little and often but for me it was much easier than the hold and flood cycle that i had
