  1. I was enjoying a good read here. Even felt they might start him on a medication schedule, that would lead to a transition, gynecomastia and both traits. this keeping this patient with all its difficulties in this clinic long term
  2. Great story and thank you for taking the time to write. I have some ideas about the continuation, as it does appear she has made him dependent, and feminized. Do you feel she should discuss his illness with the PCP, and have him referred to a mental health nurse, to start medication to keep him calm as his journey continues? There are other options, guardian, adoption?
  3. Hopefully things are getting better for you. I do feel she is very sincere after your comment, and like my Mom, and sister will start helping you when needed. You are incontinent even if its a few drops. I do know my urology team put comments in my history that this is lifelong, and she commented he has been a patient of mine for several years. Yes, I have a caregiver.
  4. 3 nights ago, during the night obviously, had no idea, just thankful I need protection all the time.
  5. My Caregiver, guardian, Mommy.
  6. I have been told by pelvic therapy here to try the Attain product. As my pelvic pain, urinary retention, and incontinence it could help she said. My urology PA also blessed it. So I guess will see Fent
  7. Very good reply, we have included my sister who I'm very close too(she has changed my diapers many times:)) she sees after a very public life that I enjoy more privacy has not hurt me. Yes she has seen I do not go out that much, as with my conditions it seems easier not to get into the hassle. But I do feel what you suggested I'm in many ways isolated, but again in many ways several illnesses together does make the patient feel safer at home.
  8. I neurogenic bladder, fecal incontinence, urinary retention, chronic constipation, bladder pain issues, and some cognitive memory issues with anxiety and depression issues. All of this is treated with a box full of medications I'm fortunate that a caretaker took me in to live with her, and we have became very close. She sees the depression medications help me a lot to relax and live a private life with her. She has showed me living quietly is much better for us. I have family but very detached as my illnesses took me further. My Questions is, Are there others that started out with a caretaker, and the caretaker took it even further? I'm fully dependent on her now. Fenton
  9. I have enjoyed your story: Why can't I stay home
