    So cute!
  3. *Quick Hitter - My first attempt at one of these contests 😁* Aw, you’re nervous. I can tell, because you’re acting extra giggly. I just love your nervous laugh. You’ve come such a long way trusting Mommy, but you still get a little anxious when we leave the house. But oh my goodness, you look so adorable. I look over my sweet and handsome boy in front me. Cute white shoes? Check. Corduroy shortalls? Check. Paci clipped securely and stored in the front pocket? Check. You’re snapped snuggly in a plain white onesie, too, so we won’t have to worry much about sagging. Diaper checks? Yeah, that’ll be tricky for Mommy, but I can manage! I do a quick check of your diaper bag to make sure it’s been resupplied. Of course, it's fully packed and ready to go. You’re always such a good boy making sure everything is ready, and Mommy appreciates that so much. In the garage, you slide into the backseat of the car. I reach across you, buckling you in safely before giving you a kiss on your forehead. Mommy has to protect her precious cargo after all! I take my place in the driver’s seat, checking on you in my rear view mirror… You are just too cute, I can’t stop looking at you. You don’t say much on the drive, but we're not going too far. You look lost in thought, but my guess is you’re trying to figure out how this will play out. As we turn down a long gravel drive, I can see your eyes squeeze a little bit, your breath becoming a little more rapid. "Don't worry my little baby," I reassure you. It’s not long before we come to a large clearing and the realization hits you. The smile on your face makes me so happy. You’ve always loved animals, and this small petting zoo is just the right size for us. I unbuckle you and we walk hand in hand to pay our admission fee. You’re so shy, but you say hello when the nice lady acknowledges you hiding behind me. She hands us our cup of pellets to feed the animals. You're so excited, you pull at my arm to hurry us ahead to the first enclosure. But we have to wait, not all of your classmates are there yet. "I think it was so smart of the co-op to have a field trip during the first week, don't you?" I ask. You blush (my favorite). You had forgotten that your new classmates would be there soon. Your attire gives you pause, worrying you slightly what they might say. You've thus far managed to mainly stay in the background, quietly learning the new routine but mostly being at home while Mommy started your fall classes. The families gradually arrive and meet up, introductions are done again, and I watch you quietly tell everyone your name. You eagerness to see the exhibits is tempered by your shame at being so childish still. That wears off quickly, and as the afternoon goes on, you are lost in fun. The animals love you - they’ve licked your hands, tried to chew on your shortalls, and eaten all of the pellets I’ve been buying for you. After an hour or two, you start to slow down a bit, so we rest on a bench near a small pond to watch some ducks. You sit close to me, so I put my arm around you and squeeze you in tighter. "It's a lot, isn't it baby?" You look up, unsure what I mean. "It's a lot, being little. You still try to worry about the things you shouldn't worry about. Worried about what people think when they see you. I wish you'd just relax, be yourself. That's what Mommy loves most about you. That's why we agreed to this life, remember?" I dig in your diaper bag and hand you some apple juice. You look around nervously, afraid someone will see you with your hot wheels sippy cup. I give you that reassuring look, and in no time it’s empty, and you’re ready for action. After another hour, we've seen and done all the things there are to see and do. I notice you're slowing down again. I think it’s probably because your diaper is bulging a bit and not because your energy is low. "I think it’s time we head home so we can get you out of that wet diaper and into a nice warm bath. Maybe after, we can have dino nuggets and milk for your dinner?" Yep, I see that sweet smile. I know you so well. Mommy’s love their special little boys and know just how to make their perfect day. And don't worry, before you know it, all your classmates will see the real you and you'll be able to be the real, little you!
  4. Really enjoyed the start here!
  5. Yeah, there's no hiding it. I've got a swim diaper for when I go somewhere to swim, but regular disposable... it's a little bulge-y!
  6. Today is the day! It finally arrived!
  7. What sets this story apart from others is that buildup! I know who they are, know what’s going through their head. It makes me want more! I’ve got my dual monitor up so I can translate the French more quickly! 😂
  8. Even though I arrive here everday for a break from reality, I'm not sure who I missed this story. But I'm sure happy to have caught up on 19 chapters worth today. Well done!!
  9. Oh, it is!! I found one and ordered it a couple days ago, should be here in a few weeks!
  10. I managed to find something similar, and after much debate about sizing, placed my order. We'll see how it goes!
