I haven't seen any increase in sales or any difference from Good Reads that I can see.

1st draft is done. Hoping to be sending out chapters maybe by the end of this week.

I definitely have my own "style" and I do plan to stick to it, it is my story after all but I do think different writers and readers can give advice I might miss. I may use a few extra words that muddle a description or maybe too few to be detailed. I am very interested in others points of views and input but please remember that I do ultimately have the final say on my story. That's not too say I don't appreciate input. For example, my last book I had one guy who told me to be less descriptive. Not to use the brand name of a particular thing. That was his opinion and mine differed. But when he caught a part that did have too many descriptions, I took his advice and wittled it down.

Hello fellow authors and readers! I am getting close to finishing up my next ABDL novel and am looking for beta readers! If you are wondering what that means/entails not to worry, I'll explain. If you are interested send me a message or comment below. Once I have the book run through my first edit, I will send you a section of chapters. I will probably break it down into roughly 5 sections. When you get the first section of chapters, you read it and make a few notes for me. These notes can include things like grammatical or spelling edits, questions about continuity or flow, character improvements, etc. As much as I enjoy hearing "Great story, can't wait to read the next set," I would like a little more substance. I don't expect everyone to give me a super detailed sentence by sentence breakdown but I do like to know a bit about your thoughts on the chapters. And I do like critisism. Don't feel like you have to compliment me, I want you honest thoughts because that is how I improve as a writer. Once you send me your notes, I will send the next set of chapters. I don't expect a big book of notes unless you want to send me that but a good paragraph would be great. Reason for breaking it down in to section is it protects my work by making sure I don't just send my whole book to someone that isn't going to give me feedback and it makes it easier for me to implement the changes and edits the readers suggest. The last book I didn't have any set timeframe for hearing back and this time I would like to establish about a month timeline for the entire book. This means I will send you approximately one set of chapters a week. The book isn't long, should be around 50-60,000 words. I am hoping to have it ready for readers by the end of February, maybe sooner and so I would like to have all my notes around end of March. Here is a quick summary of my book. Bruce Fillion is a private investigator with one sole case, tracking down an odd sex trafficking ring led by a man named Jace Allen. Jace specializes in selling women to wealthy men but with a catch, only men who like their girls diapered and well trained. Bruce has made it his mission in life to catch Jace and make sure he faces the consequences for his actions but is Jace as bad Bruce thinks? Jace sees himself as a savior of these girls while Bruce sees him as a demon but who's right? The blurb is a work in progress just fyi. Getting reviews can be a pain. They are very helpful but difficult to get readers to post.

So I decided to try but having difficulty figuring out the system. I found my book but have no idea how to claim I'm the author or anything like that. Have you found any advantages using it so far?

Yeah I placed it on the lower royalty level because I figure as a new author I needed to get more books out versus higher royalties. I'm not on Good Reads, I'll have to look into that. I have never been there so I'll have to go look. I'll let you know how the podcast impacts sales.

So I'm only on Amazon as well but I debated the KDP section but wanted to do a giveaway with my book on my newsletter for a bit before committing to the KDP. I have often wondered about the paperback thing as well but haven't done it yet. Thought maybe I'd wait a bit and then offer it after a few months. I'll definitely have to try the KDP maybe in a month or so.

So I did my own cover art. I used an app called Spark Post that has free stock photos and allows you to add text and such. I wanted something that wasn't screaming diapers and felt like covers of books I like. Sales have been up and down. Honestly this is my first attempt at selling a book and I didn't expect much so I'm that regards it's been great but not quite sure what good sales numbers really are but I'm hoping that they pickup this week as I did do an interview with Lo from Dream A Little Podcast so kinda hoping that helps put the word out.

Hey everyone, I self published my first book and have been working to get it out there. I've been posting regularly on Twitter and ABDL.link as well as posting a "teaser" here. I also started a promotion that if you sign up to my newsletter you get the book free. Just wondering what anyone else would have for advice to help get my book out there.

So I may have embellished on the Olive Garden because they are talking about building one but I don't know if it fell through or not but I thought I'd add it at the time and haven't heard anymore and the Walmart isn't in "downtown" as in the old downtown but it is in what a lot of people are considering the new downtown. There is a big boom out where they put in the new Walmart so I may have made the wrong description of where it was exactly in town but I figured it might pass. As far as diapers being in their marriage, I ended there because it does leave it up to the reader for the moment, but it also leaves it open to continue the story. I have a general plotline laid out for the story to continue so there may be a sequel but I have to finish my latest book first. Thanks the the compliments as well. I was tired of ABDL ebooks being only about diapers and not focusing on developing characters in a world where diapers aren't everything. Yes diapers are a big part of our lives but they aren't everything and I wanted a character I could relate to. So thanks for that!

Really? That is messed up. I'll see if it'll let me modify it but I don't know if I have the ability to do that.
