  1. My thoughts on this are if you have no choice just let it happen. If you must do it on purpose, it would be best to not call attention to yourself. Like avoid squatting, loud grunting, sticking your butt out etc. Also perhaps be making your way to a bathroom or other suitable place to change so others don't have to smell you.
  2. Hey welcome to DD. Let me know if you ever want to chat.
  3. Personally prefer making an all white diaper turn yellow and get really heavy! Best wetness indicator there is.
  4. Hello and welcome! Like Brian said you will not find all the answers you seek right away. Some of us that have been involved with this for a while are still figuring things out.
  5. I am glad you noticed this. When I first read this thread, I thought you must have purchased the Better Dry day diaper.
  6. Better to break in or fluff your diaper before you put it on. This will help with the absorbency and make it more comfortable as well. The diaper should be shaped as in the photo below. Hope this helps.
  7. Hello and welcome to our world!
  8. Hello QuickChe and welcome to DD. Don't ever be ashamed of waking up in a wet diaper. It's better than a wet bed.
  9. Hello and welcome! Nice to see someone from the west coast here!
  10. Are they able to handle large voids?
  11. The thing that disappoints me the most is the move towards cloth back for most products. it just does not work as well.
  12. I like them as they are evidence of the act of wetting my diaper. It says to me " you're stuck in a diaper and have to use it"
  13. Those are the 6 tape attends back when they made diapers that were actually worth buying.
  14. Sorry you got harassed about this. One thing I would recommend is to do a test run with whatever swim diaper you plan to use. Probably the best place to try this is in your bathtub if you have one. Put the swim diaper on and poop in it and see what happens. Also best to heed rusty pins advice. Better to fill your diaper on the way to the restroom rather than in the pool.
  15. They help calm me down and they're convenient as well
  16. I have never been on a flight this long but I would not recommend a diaper like the Trest. The reason why I say this is I have worn a diaper that had close to a gallon of pee in it and it is really heavy. Do you really want to be getting off the flight at your destination wearing 10 or more pounds of diaper?
  17. The best way to make this work is to make smaller wettings in the diaper to allow it to absorb properly. If you have control of your bladder it helps to pee a little then stop to allow the pee to migrate to the front or back of the diaper. Most diapers out there cannot handle huge floods.
  18. Based on my experiences I would stay away from any contoured booster pad. The wider areas at the front and back tend to defeat the leak guards in the diaper and may result in leakage before capacity is reached. Rectangular booster pads work better in my opinion.
  19. One must also take into account the kind of load the #2 is. If it's a firm one that requires pushing to get it into the diaper a lower quality diaper will usually be OK. If it's a big pile of mush then a higher quality diaper would be needed.
  20. @clt_abdlJust curious who out there has an 11,000ml diaper?
  21. I would say if you need to use these facilities go for it. As you mentioned your use of diapers is likely for uncontrolled bowel movements. While being timely with your use is a good idea, do not sacrifice cleanliness to be fast for the next user of the room. There is likely not a huge sense of urgency unless the person has to avoid missing a flight. I would think most people in this situation would only need the room if their waste was already in their diaper.
  22. @bluelineyes you want to alllow the diaper to expand but more important is that the onesie does not work it's way into the diaper. The elastic parts of it should only touch your skin.
  23. A couple of things about onesies. First if it's too tight and compressing the diaper it can reduce absorbency. Second the area between your legs may be tucking itself into the sides of your diaper which can result in a wicking leak.
  24. I agree they should not be used by or sold to someone else. As previously mentioned, these items can not be safely sterilized without the proper equipment. One should also consider the psychological factor of the use of these devices by another person. It could bring about the thought "I feel weird using this because it was inside person so and so."
  25. Well said Brian! It is unfortunate that there are people out there taking advantage of someone's need or excitement. I would add that your precautions should not just be limited to ABDL matters. The best way in my opinion to prevent one self from a financial scam is to follow this rule. "If you did not initiate it yourself, do not proceed."
