  1. I think it's basically been said before but it's a mix of naughtiness and littleness for me. It transfers my state of mind to a time when I didn't have any responsibilities and could expect my stinky accident to quickly attract some attention. I'm definitely not into the scat side of it and I don't like the cleanup part, but I don't find it disgusting enough to deter me from doing it either. It just feels like a natural aftermath kind of like most people don't get disgusted every time they wipe themselves after pooping on the toilet. Shit happens, and sometimes it happens in the diaper.
  2. I think that perspective is a bit too white and black. Humans are complex creatures with complex desires and some of us were created and shaped in childhood to have a lifelong "dependency" on diapers. Dependent meaning that a person can't really be completely happy or complete without indulging in diaper related activities. I think of diaper and incontinence desires as a part of the upper parts of the infamous need pyramid. I'm pretty sure that nobody in this thread would become a mental wreck without diapers, but I'm also pretty sure that quite a few would simply be a more unfulfilled and unhappy version of themselves. Some people have way more problematic and dangerous desires than a dependency on diapers out there, and I think it's one of the more mild desires you can wrestle with in your life. All in all it is ultimately a problem of "luxury" to consider oneself psychologically dependent on diapers for comfort. It's only in the last hundreds of years that we as humans have had the opportunity to develop and satisfy these kinds of needs instead of fighting for daily survival.
  3. About an hour ago. I was going for a morning walk when I felt the unusual urge to poop this early in the morning (10 AM). I don't know what I ate to have this happen but I would definitely have had to go home immediately if it wasn't for my trusty diaper ? I love when diapers actually make my life easier! I'm home again and it's getting really stinky now so I'm going to wet it and change into a new one!
  4. Wow, thanks a lot for the post! I usually ponder a lot about the philosophy/psychology behind many things in society, and I sure have thought about the desire to become incontinent a lot. I personally think you hit the nail on the head with your post. I am obviously biased as a DL/Infantilist I guess, but yes - So much yes to this. Both my grandfathers passed away before I was even born due to different vices. One of them drank himself to death and the other one ate himself to a heart attack... My mom has smoked since she was a teen and let's just say that both my parents drink their fair share of alcohol. When it comes to me I only drink alcohol at parties, I never smoke, never do any type of drugs and I eat relatively healthy. If infantilism is to be my "vice" in life I welcome it with open arms!
  5. At least according to James May ? But I broke that law and posted like a mad man before this introduction. I'm a 23 year old ABDL Switch (primarily DL) from Sweden. I've just started embracing it again after a long purge cycle, and I intend to never enter that cycle again. ?I'm on the right track baby I was born this way ? I'm mostly here to discuss aspects of the ABDL life and any related issues/ideas that pop into my head ?
  6. You can have more true privacy using a diaper when out in public (depending on the situation). When using public restrooms you are forced to hear, smell (and see in the case of guys) other people doing their thing.
  7. I see. I truly appreciate your honesty and well-meaning, the internet is short of actual professionals after all. But if I decide to do something I can promise you that I will have read a lot more about it than just a few forum posts. It is true that you get what you pay for but the Internet is a special place in that some professional information can still be out there for free if you look hard enough. Interesting. If I'm receptive to that it would be exactly what I'm looking for. I'll look deeper into that, thanks for the tip!
  8. I understand what you're saying but I wasn't planning on blindly following any response I got. I'm quite new to all this and I just wanted to know if what I wanted was plausible at all, and from what I gather it unfortunately isn't? But I was suspecting that as well so I'm not shocked. I've always slept naked so I was thinking along the lines of being able to teach the brain that wetting while padded/dressed is okay, and without it's not. But I guess that the brain isn't that easy to fool then and all out incontinence is the only option?
  9. Sup everyone! So... For as long as I can remember I've had a really shy bladder. I can't for the life of me pee at a urinal, and even when I try to do it in a private toilet stall I easily get distracted by other people. If I'm on a road trip with people I have to go several meters away from everyone else and look like an idiot just to be able to pee. It's a quality of life issue in many ways for me. Another downside of it is that in combination with my relatively small bladder I will wake up with an immense pressure on my bladder if I don't control my fluid intake before bed. It's not really urge incontinence because I don't leak but it hurts, disrupts my sleep and prevents me from being properly hydrated at times. I've started wearing diapers quite recently and I'm wondering if there's any way to train myself to only wet myself at night when I'm in diapers? I don't want to become night time incontinent without a diaper (at least not yet), but it would be awesome to be able to wake up after a good nights sleep with a wet diaper. Both for my ABDL side and for my sleep quality's sake. Is this practically possible or would I have to become incontinent without diapers as well in that case?
  10. Yes, but I prefer a diaper because it feels more baby-like and it allows me to stay in it for a while without staining furniture etc. Some of my earliest memories are from when I was 5 years old and pooped/pissed my pants on a few occasions when I went out to "play" in the forest. I remember it feeling soooooo good and naughty. Afterwards I told my mom that they were "accidents", but even then I knew that she didn't buy it... I just couldn't stop myself. I don't recollect doing it again after that until puberty hit so I must have been reprimanded or embarrassed so much that I repressed those feelings and stopped doing it.
