If you have read my profile or other posts you know I am a severely disabled guy who wears twenty four seven and is also Catheterised. Acceptance of my situation has been much more easy since discovering sites like this and kinda re programming my head. My only problem is I see myself more as a little boy than a baby. I like playing with toy cars and trains and stuff not baby toys. This year I have become totally dependent on others most days I can't even feed my self. If you asked me what's the most embarrassing thing to get used to when suddenly life changes and you become a paraplegic bordering on quadraplegic it's not the nappy changing and bladder or bowels stuff it's being spoon fed. I drool a lot out of both sides of my mouth not all the time but enough and having someone wipe my chin is another humbling baby thing. Being totally dependent on others is scarry if you think about it for to long. The times I actually love being fed is if it's a male friend or care worker doing it. I like it when they use their fingers to feed me chips or crisps. I wear bibs all the time not just feeding time because of my drooling. So I am a baby cos of the care I need but I like older boys toys. Thanks for reading.

I wet the bed well into my teens and my parents tried various methods to try and stop me from doing it. I was cloth diaperd till about school age with plastic pants with poppers over the top. My parents must have thought they could not continue with that as I started school and gave me a very serious talk about the fact I was at school now and I would be made fun of if my friends found out. So they tried to scare me. Then it was fluid control no drinks after six in the evening. All this failed so another serious talk and I was told I would be punished if it continues. My dad was a builder so when he came in from work he would ask me if I had wet the bed that night. If I said no he would say well done but then check with my mum so I had to be honest. I used to beg and say I was trying hard. He would send me to my room to wait. He would come in with slipper in hand. The pain was bad. He would push my head into the bed and go to town on my bum and legs.. sometimes with my shorts on and sometimes he would pull them down. Anyway over time it became less and less and they gave up. I don't think my parents liked or wanted to do it but we're desperate.

Thanks for that. I know all about UTI infections believe you me. Unfortunately left on it's own my bladder would only ever half empty. Even with the bypassing I would still have at least 250 mil in my blader. Also the catheter cuts down drastically on the number of diaper changes I need. I can get away most days with two. I know I said in the above post my diaper was always wet but damp would be a better discription unless I close my catheter valve and just bypass all the time. This I do sometimes just to have that total incontinent wet feeling. It's also a good thing because it flushes out my urethra where alsorts of stuff works up like fibres from my nappy plus germs so a good wee thru my pee pee is beneficial all round.

I am in hospital often and they use suppositories on me. They insert two in the mornings and then wait a half hour and make you drink tea. The bed pan is in place. The smell is bad.

I am double incontinent due to spinal cord injury. I have very little feeling up my anus and am permanently catheterised thru my penis. I bypass though so my diaper is always wet. I poo mostly in my nappy. I love diapers now and could not imagine life without them. One of the best feelings of being little again is if I can get a nurse or care worker to check if my diaper needs changing or not. Some will do this by feeling under the cuffs or leaning me forward to check the back. Most just say we will change it but others will check. It's a fantastic feeling having your nappy checked in that way. The feeling is best if they check the cuffs between your legs. It's so good. Thanks for reading.
