  1. Everything's been said. Absolutely don't accept any diapers from your dad under the given pretense. Don't ask Don't tell is a good way of putting it, you have a voice and you can also choose to not comment if it's nobody else's business. I live alone, and I still bag my diapers before disposal in the trash, at home as in public. There's always something you can do.
  2. So, so far thanks to everyone's recomendations I've narrowed my search down to Sudocrem, Sween Cream, and Calmoseptin. I can't thank you all enough for your input, it's a great help - this chafing business is heinous. Okay Howdy21? This is way too precious. Thank you for sharing : )
  3. Thank you for this advice rusty pins. Sween Cream, noted! With 35 years behind it, I'll definitely be adding this to my collection and experimenting with it. And boy do you ever have the right idea about a hot wash cloth... So far I have employed soaks in hot baths followed by air-dry and Neosporin. Calmoseptin, this stuff sounds fantstic. I'm quite attracted to the numbing aspect, as well as the fact that by it's name it sounds like it also anti-bacterial and sooths the skin. Oh I only wear premium, I'm in Dry 24/7. But I need to try some others still , as well as some pull-ups like from Abena or Seni. Hopefully my skin will adapt to this, it's really sensitive... I'd apply baby powder first thing if I could, but outdoors or anywhere theres not a restroom for a while, I'm usually out of luck.
  4. Great simmering sausages! 24 hours? And no rash, chafing, or otherwise? What in twelve types of quick drying cement was this diaper?
  5. GoodNESS, well after side-by-side comparison I have to say Sudocrem seems outstanding (I found it on Ebay). While as a general tule of thumb I prefer to shop at XP Medical, for the price point, quantity, and description, I believe I'll might just try Sudocrem. In your experience does it generally last long enough for you until it's time to apply more? And is it easy to clean afterward?
  6. This is a fantastic idea. You know I got to thinking along those lines myself, I need to start keeping a variety of diaper brands *and* pull-ups on hand in my inventory to fulfill the various roles they are best suited for throughout the day. Case in point as with being out doors and exercising, apart from having a thinner and lighter profile, introducing pull-ups would make a great alternative since they also have less capasity and most likey less wicking speed. So not only would they help minimise excess friction from heavyweight padding, but also reduces wasted capacity. Sometimes I wet more than I realise but often still, my diaper isn't finished yet. As for the Desitin cream, I'm going to give that a try! Vertually every topical cream I see is marketed toward diaper rash, and all of them seem to look over chafing. I've tried Petroleum jelly in the past, but it seemed to get hot and lose it's pliability relitively quickly and still I got red marks along my inner thighs (but there again I wasn't wearing pull-ups.) I think I'll be investing in Abena and/or the Seni line of pull-ups. Thank you for your input!
  7. So for about the past five days now I have been diapered around the clock, for no reason other than just because. I'm generally pretty active, I love to walk and jog. Well so far I have learned perhaps I personally have sensitive skin, even a brisk stroll results in swift and severe chafing, such that buy now my inner thighs are raw! It is excruciating to say the least. My question to those of us assembled here who are diapered long term or permanently, I'm curious to know if you've ever had this issue and how you have handled it in the past, and what success you have had with it. I'm considering at some point becoming officially diaper dependant so for now I'm going through a trial and error process, finding my groove and trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. Rashes have never been an issue for me, I'm hygienic enough I suppose that that hasn't ever been an issue for me - but chafing! This is a whole other issue which I'm having difficulty trying to troubleshoot. Any recomendations would be most appreciated!

Anytime. :) I'm actually suprised I was able to help with a technical question lol. :D

  9. So far for me there's no set-in-stone time save le morning bath or shower. I'll change generally between 3-5 times in a day, as needed on a case by case basis.
  10. I would say yes. I've come here to this community, and recently I find myself diapered pretty much always due to some changing gears in my life... My work life is going to allow me to wear as often as I please now, and really, if I stop to think about it, ideally I'd like to commit the rest of my life to being diapered and having to rely on them for my freedom. I don't know about fecal incontinence honestly, but if I were to acquire the ability as well as the struggles involved with dribbling out all over the place all the time, I would be happy with it.
  11. Yes this makes sence, however to the vast majority of the world population, no. Such a world will never exist. Diapers will never lose their stigma, and to the uninitiated the AB/DL community will never be anything more than a curiosity and a bunch of sick freaks, as taboo as gay individuals in the 1960s. I remember when I came out to my mother about diapers when I was 16, she teared up and told me she failed me. And it's a deep dark subject we went on never to broach. It has to take one of us to understand one of us, and those few rare friends who accept us as is. In answer to your question, I question you back: is there any way of living in the world where you can just flatly accept unaceptance? Accept that there's nothing you can do, and accept it completely? (by the way, when I was a kid I snuck onto my dad's work laptop sometimes, and that's how I found of all things DPF, that's where I had the bombshell discovery: I wasn't alone!! It's good to be in yalls company. Also, I'm not positive, but I think I also discovered WKLD... Could have been a site similar as it was addressed to the younger audience, but in any case, I was one of those kids it helped to some extent.)
  12. I need more information, like what your daily routine is generally like. I'm assuming you mean you're actually incontinent and that you're refering to diaper rash. I've spoken with incontinent individuals elsewhere before and gained some insight how they like to manage it.
  13. I dig. And I like you just the way you are.
  14. My advise which I cannot stress enough: consider either wearing an undershirt and tucking it in, or invest in a few Onsies. Onsies are fantastic, they are a great choice for discretion in public where your shirt is liable to ride up, AND they have the added benifit of forming one nice snug fit over your body and diaper which provides support as you become wet and also prevents any access to the diaper or any clothing snagging tapes. And don't be discouraged, you aren't alone. I remember one time years ago when I first went into diapers, it was awkward and I became mortified as one day, I was at a book store. I was near the check-out when who should I notice learing, with that particular evil grin lol, but some kid. Our eyes met and there was no hiding or denying. I was about as red as a tomato. Back then I could hardly step outside my bedroom door with feeling like the whole world knew. But being diapered and in public, as another user has pointed out, is about confidence!
