  1. I was in France recently and decided to improve my spoken French. I was told one of the best ways was to read Tintin or Asterix books in their original French. I bought a few and love them, and my French is certainly a lot better
  2. Dreadful, I hated it. My father was a bedwetter in his youth and I am sure my parents were less troubled by my bedwetting because of it. I did not have a dry night until I was 12. My mother was a distant kind of woman and took away my nappies when I was about 3/4. I had a plastic sheet on the bed and one cotton sheet on top, but I never got a good night’s sleep. I asked for nappies when I was ten but was turned down. She would get me up in the morning and stand me on the old wooden toilet seat and wash me down before dressing me for school. I was desperate to be dry as were all my friends. At my UK boarding school I wet but less frequently, I was put in a small dormitory with six other bedwetters and hated that too. As I am very dyslexic, which was unheard of in those days (1960s), I was written off as stupid and spent a lot of time on my own, which I think gave me strength, and an enjoyment in my own company. I have had a successful life and continue so to do, even to the extent now of enjoying my incontinence (I have always been a bit of an ABDL). I never let it stop me from doing what I want and never shall. Nappies are great, I make my own and always have!!
  3. I have worn nappies to meetings with doctors and hospitals. I had a knee replaced and wore Tykables ‘cammies’ all the time. I had a nappy rash and was called into my doctor at very short notice, too short to change from my terry nappy I wear with plastic pants. She gave me a thorough examination and just told me to change often. I explained that I like terry nappies and she was very impressed even though they are quite childish (I think it appealed to her ‘green’ credentials). More recently I wore a Kiddos ‘let’s build’ to a hospital for a scan as I was above the waist but down my back. I forgot that I was wearing dungarees (my woodworking uniform) and had to strip down to my nappy. If I am asked I just say that life is too short for dull undies, and yes, I am incontinent. I like wearing more childish clothes and it offends no one, just make sure it is a clean nappy/diaper for the meeting.
  4. Mine was a magazine I found in a sex shop in Soho London circa 1968. I was so excited, there was a man being put into a nappy by this ‘motherly’ looking woman. My absolute dream at the time!. So the search was on for more printed material (very much pre-internet times) I cannot remember when I found ‘Wetset’ magazine from Australia, it was probably many years later.
  5. Thank you for that, I shall give them a try. I shall also have a look at the Attends. I am. Happy to start off the day with a pull-up but when a change is necessary the disrobing is a real issue.
  6. With that ‘changing’ problem in mind, has anyone tried Tena’s Flex? I too find the problem of changing a real problem and almost impossible unless I am in shorts. The Tena Flex look to be a compromise between a pull-up and a full nappy.
  7. Yes, the Queen would be a hard act to follow, she was an exceptional lady, but your ‘gorilla’ comment is unnecessary, she is a very gracious lady who works in the background behind King Charles, so I doubt you have much of an idea as to what she does. Don’t dismiss Charles so quickly. It has been he who has tried to get the world to listen re climate change. He has encouraged thousands of kids, many from troubled backgrounds, to better themselves and learn new skills, through the Prince Trust. He is no slouch! As for Diana, you say ‘people loved Diana’, but I did not, she did not behave so well her self while Charles gets all the blame. She has been put on some pedestal because she died in a car crash. Look at the times that Queen Elizabeth lived in. World war, IRA bombings, etc, we don’t have those events to contend with at the moment, but if we did King Charles and the whole royal family would behave in the same way, (except possibly Harry and Megan). I would hope that the rest of the nation would also, but I am not sure. Unfortunatly the ‘republicans’ among us do not understand what the royal family stand for and how they unite this country through their longevity and the history of the UK. It is not a perfect history, but who’s is? Just look at France, Russia, Germany, Spain, Italy etc, but through it all the Royal family have given the UK gravitas and status. Many are jealous of the wealth or the fact that they are unelected, but we have an elected head/government that operate the state, but we have a bonus of our history. ‘The Firm’ as it is know, bring in fantastic wealth to the country from tourism. People come to see the great artworks, palaces, military pagentry etc, which you don’t see anywhere else in the world. These things did not happen over night, they have been created over considerable time, through ages when we all behaved differently. If they had not been collected and collated we would not be able to see/enjoy them now. I wish King Charles a long and happy reign. I thank Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth for all her long reign, wisdom, stoicism and optimism.
  8. Interesting, but whereas I know who the Royal family are, I have never heard of ‘theJefferson’s’. Rather telling don’t you think. You could educate yourself by reading some history and you may understand their significance to the UK and the world.
  9. What an ignorant, stupid post. They are not a ‘drain on the economy’, far from it. They generate huge income for the country and cost almost nothing. If you really want three things, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, The Princes Trust and the preservation of the amazing history of our great country. Do us all a favour and go and read something about the Royal family and the history of the UK, good and bad, then make you judgement, then keep it to yourself.
  10. Like AbabeBil I wear Suprima pants. The best place that I have found to get them is https://www.saveexpress.de. Yes, they are in Germany but have sent pants to me in New Zealand and I am sure they would send them to the USA. They also have their own range of ABDL pants and nappies etc.
  11. Life is too short for dull undies!! I like the printed babyish nappies, but I do wish they would make them with ‘little boy/girl’ prints as well as the baby prints. Many years ago I would have said that I was and AB, but not my leanings are towards being just a DL.
  12. I was recently told that the problem with the world was ‘old grey men’. As an older grey man I took exception as I do with statements like this. If that were the case then why do women enhance their bottoms, is it not to attract a male of the species? The same with almost all modes of dress, it is done to attract the opposite sex (with apologies to the LGBTs etc). It has the effect to making us feel good to know that we look good. BUT it is all completely subjective. I personally find looking at a bikini thong on the beach offensive and the people who wear them do not look attractive to me. I would imagine that a ‘builders bum crack’ does not turn on very many women, but there are probably some. The world changes slowly and several people have said that homosexuality would not have become more acceptable had it not been for the brave few to shout about it more. When I was 20 I worked for a 60 year old gay man who was discretion personified and very charming as well. As for a little nappy/diaper showing, then fine, just don’t disrobe completely and wear only your nappy as you would not any underwear. On the subject of ‘little’ clothing, I don’t really see a problem as long as it is not ridiculous. Just look at Japan and the manga spin-off, which I think is rather sweet. Would it be in downtown Chicago, I don’t know, I’ve never been there, but I suspect not! I am 73 this year and have been to a greater and lesser extent ABDL since I was 8, I wear dungarees to my workshop (woodwork) and slightly childish t-shirts (Popeye and Tintin). If I question wether it is appropriate, I ask my wife and would not wear them anywhere ‘serious’. Enjoy the nappies, personally I like the secrecy of standing in the street and being able to wet myself and nobody knows. Just don’t be offensive and don’t be stupid. Long live old grey men!!!!!
  13. I can get mine to last 4/5 years adding soakers of varying thickness. They then get recycled into car washing/floor washing cloths. As I make my own shaped terry nappies, I make a batch of 15/20 new ones every year so I can take the oldest out of use and still have 30/40 day and night nappies in a useable condition.
  14. What a wonderful idea, and how lovely that your wife encourages nudity around the house. I am an inco/ABDL and recently I had some nappy rash and decided to go nude, under the advice from my doctor, and I enjoyed every moment. My wife, unlike yours (jealous, me!!) is very vanilla and won’t even have sex mentioned about the house, so I covered up wearing just shorts. They were drenched in a half an hour!!! Personally I would just find something to eradicate the smell and otherwise live with the consequences. Happy days.
  15. As I am incontinent I always wear a pull-up when I visit the doctor, but I mostly wear my fitted terry nappies and plastic pants if I am out and about. I had a call from the dr when I was at the shops, she said to come in straight away. I felt safe as it was about something ‘above the waist’, but while I was there I asked her about nappy rash, to which she said “well, let’s have a look”! She was completely unabashed and ‘matter of fact’ as we had a conversation about keeping the area clean, my green credentials for wearing washable nappies. The thing that she did not mention was that the nappy had a somewhat babyish print on the outside, so I dare say that went on my file. She also told me to let the area get some fresh air occasionally and not wear a nappy. So I now try to do the gardening in a pair of shorts only but after an hour or two they are rather wet, but the rash is under control. I have great respect for doctors, but they have seen stuff that most of us would not and are unphased.
