Except by saying trans women aren't women which they are doing by not including them then you're not being respectful you're being quite the opposite. As for engaging with the sub I tested this when this grease pit first came to my attention, I posted a couple picture one of myself and another of a cis friend with her permission (unlike most pics on that site but that's another point) and both posts got taken down almost instantly both flagged for breaking the trans rule. Now neither post was tagged in anyway as being trans or lgbt but my reddit profile does follow several trans and lgbt subs, so I can only assume that is the reason the posts were taken down. Meaning quite explicitly that I cannot engage with the sub. It's not about an individual's "preference" it's about exclusion with in our community, a community that has a very high percentage of trans members, around 10% of ABDL's are trans. The reason I made this thread two years ago, and to think I'm still having to explain this is exhausting. Was to say to our community, hey let's do better, because if you're looking at a girl in a diaper 9 time out of 10 you'll have have no idea if they're cis or trans. The numbers of trans femme, trans masc and nonbinary folks are relatively even in the UK at least. Trans Femme are the most visible both historically and in this community, I can only think of one movie with a trans masc character but I'm pretty out of date on these things. The explanation for why trans femmes are most visible in the media is a long and upsetting one so I won't go into it here. My theory for trans femmes being most visible in the kink world is because that was the only way to get validated as a woman for the longest time was through the internet because it was simply something you couldn't discuss. In fact until the early 2000s the only way you could get bottom surgery in the UK was to totally cut off your family and friends, move away and basically hide your identity, we were actively told to hide being trans. Also obviously the discrimination trans femmes face often forces us in to subsistence sex work so there's this weird space of trans femmes only being allowed as fetish material, which is still very much true to this day, third most popular search on pornhub in the US. So yeah in summation, trans femmes (of my and previous generations) have always been pushed to the online and kink worlds because that's the only real path of acceptance, that is very much changing now though thank g-d.

That's a lot of big questions, but I'll do my best. Yes people treat me different since I started presenting as a woman, sometimes just as an ordinary woman, sometimes as a freak but I don't pass all that well. When it goes well, cashiers and whoever will gossip and talk with me, I've even had men offer to get things off high shelves for me, despite me being as tall as them. I've lost family and friends because of my transition but frankly I'm better off without them. As for the height thing, some people while on cross sex hormones have experience a loss of height and a reduction of shoe size but these are fairly minimal at most two inches and half a foot size. Hormone therapy's affects visually are quite minimal over all personally I've found the biggest change being mentally, less brain fog and better clarity in my thoughts. I like to think of it as before I was engine running on the wrong fuel, it kinda works but it's not the most efficient way to do things. I hope that helps

@~Brian~ I saw some discussion whether or not it breached reddit's general anti-discrimination guidelines. As for a reason well, trans women make some cis men's peepee sad I guess maybe they're intimidated that our dicks (when we have them) might be bigger than theirs.

As you can see from their rules I posted above, trans people aren't welcome in this subreddit. This rule was added and then reaffirmed by rather dubious polls. I'm really quite disappointed in this as it's one of the most prominent abdl subreddits and given the number of trans folks in the community I'd have hoped for more inclusivity.
