  1. Yep, prostitution is legal in Holland, Denmark and a pretty large number of other European countries. I believe it was just made illegal in Sweden, so the swedes are out of luck. There are no special areas of town, where it is legal or otherwise. Not sure where that piece of info came from. HPD2.
  2. I hope I am not stating the obvious, but there are limits to what many people will ever realize exists as far as the weirdness scale goes, not to mention having a chance of seeing and hearing about it on TV. The fact that it got on TV at all is an indication of just how 'tame' the subject is. The weirdness scale posted by BabyBrian1973 doesn't even start to cover the activities out there. You just doens't hear or talk about the subjects below '10'. No, people in general does not want to know about someone having used his or her diaper. But they are probably unaware that there are much, much worse things out there to witness. I won't even mention some of the subjects in question out of respect to the other members of the board. Don't you people ever read those collections of 'funny' medical records from ERs? HPD2.
  3. Well, yes, but all the medical 'professionals', nurses, social workers and whatnot would still think you are a bit funny under the top, as most ambulatory adult diaper users - in many of these people's experience- are just that. So you end up either having to accept being treated as some sort of mental case (take your pick) or you might have to come up with some very convincing arguments. Arguments, which due to the nature of the problem, will often be very personal and not something the opposing party may be prepared to listen to, much less consider objectively. I recently had reason to make an incomplete list over all the 'odd' situations I had been through over the years, and it wasn't just an isolated case I'm afraid. An AB/DL can choose whom to tell the details and when to shut up, even if they are very open about the issue toward their families, friends etc. HPD2.
  4. Retired today, but used to work in physics, electronics and IT (research programming). HPD2.
  5. Well, let's see. It is probably easier for me to list the persons around me, who doesn't know I wear diapers. My grandmother is one of them, as she seems unable to stop talking about health issues once she gets going. Thus she doesn't know more details about my health than she absolutely has to. So many from my family, my family doc and most of my friends knows. I tend to tell people after a while, once an opportunity arises to breach the subject. HPD2.
  6. Conveen / Coloplast makes a series of barrier creme products for adult diaper wearers / incontinence issues. They do try to put a neutral face to it, but that is what the products are for. Three 'grades' of skin protection is available, and even the least 'aggressive' helps a lot with comfort and preventing/resolving skin problems due to urinary incontinence / diaper use. The product I use exclusively for skin protection is called 'Protact' (catalog # 65100) and is available over the counter as a special order item at any pharmacy here in northern Europe. Smells a bit like sun screen, so should go well with a hot summer's day. The 'tougher' grades of barrier creme, which I haven't tried, are for bowel incontinence and open wounds(!) respectively. Also I agree on drinking lots of clear *water*. Diluting the urine really helps prevent skin problems, even if you have to use a thicker diaper to cope with the excess. Having plenty of fluid in your body also helps it to shed excess heat through sweat and evaporation via the areas of skin not covered by your diaper. Regarding loose clothing, yes. But not a loose diaper for me, please. In my experience it is *more* uncomfortable to wear a loose fitting diaper than a snug one when it is hot. A loose diaper doesn't really help prevent skin problems IMHO, and the partial cooling of the skin annoys me. Plus, since I don't have any motoric problems, a loose diaper plus damp skin is asking for skin wounds as you move about. HPD2.
  7. Even though this question comes up quite frequently, then, to my knowledge, there is no hobbyist/DIY method available for reaching your goal. In particular I have never heard of any reasonably harmless drug not causing mental incapacitation, which rendered the user doubly incontinent. The only sure-fire way I can think of would be to have all sphincter muscles surgically removed from around the anus and the bladder exit point. The other methods suggested so far carries way too high a risk of an unpredictable result. In particular an injury to the spinal cord may not result in the sufferer becoming diaper dependent. Some SCI patents have severe difficulties actually relieving themselves due to muscle spasms, and they may need different mechanical means to help the processes along. Additionally most SCI patients have lost most sensation of touch, feel and so forth below the break. Thus you might not even get to enjoy the sensations associated with being doubly incontinent. Severe traumatic brain injury is a bad choice as well IMHO. Much too high risk of ending up dead or as a vegetable in a nursing home. Yet still there is no guarantee of incontinence if you do survive with your mental faculties somewhat intact. Also worth noting is that if you do somehow manage to damage your anal spincter beyond repair, it is a standard ER medicine practice to immediately provide an artificial bowel opening, Ie. a colostomy. Same due to serious damage to the bladder area, which would result in being equipped with an urostomy or possibly a pair, one for each kidney. That is probably not what you want either, yet you probably wouldn't have much of a say in the matter. HPD2.
  8. Count my vote for this group as well, please. I should probably have myself age verified before I join. HPD2.
  9. Rehi everyone, Some of you will remember my posts from earlier this year, when I initially tried to register under the pseudonym of 'HPD'. Back then I never received the registration confirmation email for some reason, even though the email address in question certainly worked (and works). So now I have tried registering again using a completely different email address and I shall henceforth be known as HPD2. Got the email this time, though when I tried using it, I got an error message saying I didn't have to verify or some such. We shall see if it works now. Hope I am still welcome in my new disguise. HPD2, the DD member formerly known as HPD.
