Today's diapers are designed to be not noticeable. Unless you wear super bulky ones with skin tight clothes.

It is most likely a conditioned response. Your brain has paired the sound of running water with the sound of urinating so it makes you want to go. -
It looks like Procter & Gamble Co. is getting back into adult diapers.
