This thread feels kinda wrapped up but I did wanna pop in and just say a few things. I do wanna just echo wannatrip baby by saying that we (unfortunatley!) don't know many intimate details so what we say should be taken with a grain of salt, at the same time though there's a lot of info in that OP. Firstly, TomBoy, if you think that you'd benefit from seeing a therapist then you totally should do your best to go see one. Every time I've made use of therapy, I've kicked myself for not going in earlier. Not to diss Wannatrip or anything =p. In addition to reaching out to folks, you could try other coping mechanisms such as journaling or meditating (I know that that sounds super "neurotypical" as the kids like to say, but my therapist recommended an app called headspace and when I use it, it seems to help? There's only so much content on it available for free, but you can just cycle through the free stuff =p). Secondly, in my experience, being down is just a part of being up. It's all just part of the flow. When you're feeling down all you can do is your best. So, try to continue getting out and all that, and also try not to beat yourself up if you didn't get enough sunshine or if you feel extra down that day. Just drink your water, get that 15mins of sun a day, and just do your best to wait for the flow to curve back up. I hope things get better soon!

One of my first memories is wanting to get back into diapers. I think that once or twice when the chance presented itself, I might have taken a diaper from someone's (i.e. a relative with a baby who was visiting) stash when I was a toddler. I don't really remember very well, but I don't think I was ever caught. I never wet the bed, never pretended to wet the bed, or anything like that. It was just a desire that I had and that I kept under wraps. I always told myself that when I moved out and when it was safe, I would go get some diapers. So it wasn't until like 20 years after I first had that desire that I finally indulged myself =p. So the question feels moot because I just kind of always knew that I wanted to wear diapers again. I think, though, to try and answer your question we could also talk about how some of us found out that there were other ABDLs like us? I honestly don't remember very well how I found out that I wasn't alone, but I think it involved some late night googling. I'm pretty sure that this story was my first, or one of my first, exposure(s) to anything ABDL. It made me feel so wild that there was a story out there about a kid wearing diapers and being accepted, and I was kinda obsessed with this story/site for a few months. That kind of branched out into lurking here, then making a profile here, and the rest is kinda history (I wish I remembered it better).

I have to say that I'm not a fan. It looks like you just recolored the white part of the ABU super dry kids, which isn't very original. Then you describe the diaper as (and forgive my paraphrasing here) "having 2 tapes, being very absorbent, holding #2's well, and not leaking," which is like saying "it's good" but with more words. Also, the name is kind of confusing/disappointing. Because the image is so large, the name of the diaper is the first thing I saw when I opened up this topic. Then, I saw the retro animals on the diaper itself which was confusing since the name you chose was "futuristic." Once I read the text of your OP, I realized what the situation was. But the fact that you didn't come up with a name for your ideal diaper design is also disappointing. If you want a diaper like this, then I'm sure you can find stuff that's already out there. I don't poop in my diapers, so I don't know which ones hold poop very well (though I imagine most hold poop pretty well). You should definitely check out the ABU Space diapers: they're blue, they're cute, and ABU, in general, doesn't seem to disappoint. The tapes are good and their diapers are super absorbent. I understand that you have a preference for colored diapers, but you might also want to check out those ABU super dry kids. It looks to me like the only difference between them and your ideal diaper is the color =p. Sorry for being so harsh on you. I think it's great that you wanted to put thought and work into a diaper design that was perfect for you. But you clearly didn't have the time to put a lot of thought into a unique diaper. Definitely continue to think about it. I would love to read a detailed post where you talk about your ideal diaper design!

Thanks for the picture and the link, SWet! Little Pawz are my favorite diaper at the moment. The pictures on ABU's site didn't really reveal what the whole onesie looked like so this is great! Also, Eatenbywolves, I thhhiinnkkk (could be wrong) that they recommend that you order a size smaller since these onesies run big? I don't remember exactly, but you're definitely right that sizing can be wonky.

I also think that saying "it's personal" is totally fine. I've used that response to answer questions, and I've had that response used on me. I don't think it's weird. Related: why the heck are your roomies going through your closet? The real question is "what the heck are you doing in my closet?" That's a relatively large invasion of space. I, like most others, think that you're good. Stick to that story and definitely put them on the defensive.

I like to have my diapers dry! So, I'm gonna be the second person to vote for "neither." But, that's not an option in the original poll, if you backed me into a corner and made me choose between wetting and messing then I would say wetting. I never enjoy messing them, the clean-up is just too gross.

Ahh, I hadn't thought of / read about boosters. I will definitely try that! And, JBonn, I am somewhat dedicated to Little Pawz! I'm sure that I will explore with time, but I'm a creature of habit and so will probably be in Little Pawz for a good while yet =p. Although, yes, you're correct that some brands are more suspectable than others.

Hi everyone, So, some background info: I tend to use diapers only when I go to bed, and I don't wet or mess them I just enjoy the feeling of a diaper when I go to bed. I also am pretty much exclusively into Little Pawz these days. One thing that annoys me though is the clumping. Now obviously, every diaper is going to clump eventually, and from what I can tell thicker diapers will take longer to clump than thinner diapers. Little Pawz, I think, are decent at clumping. I can wear them for a solid 2 nights before I start to see any clumping, and it's really only on the 3rd or 4th night that I just feel like I can't wear that same diaper anymore due to the clumping. So, in all honesty, it's not a bad problem. Still, though, I would like to squeeze as many nights as I can out of each diaper xD. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to prevent clumping? Other than wearing a snug-fitting set of PJs or something, I don't know of any prevention techniques. Many thanks in advance!

I got found out under similar circumstances. I didn't say anything, I let them approach me. I would say to let your mom come to you on this one. If she did see it, then she's sure to ask; if she didn't see it, then there's no reason to start something.

Sounds like maybe extra friction during masturbation from the diaper? Follow the cream, maybe give the lil' guy some lotion, and stop masturbating for a while. Hopefully it'll go away with the doctor's cream!

Also: there is a small army of Midwestern ABDLs, so this affects a large number of people actually. The store is quite famous in the region for being so open to our community. So it might not seem like a big deal, but if you live within a 4 hour radius, then it kind of is a big deal. I see no problem with this being in the Lifestyle section. Despite the fact that this post could also go in the Links and Announcements section, many posts often have implications in more than one area. So, there's nothing wrong here. Now, if you'll all excuse me I have to go take my blood pressure medication. The amount of salt in that post gave me hypertension.

Tenas are a very popular choice, yes. Though, I don't think I've ever used them myself (if I have used them it was a while ago). A few other brands to look out for are Molicare and Abena. Molicare can be more expensive, but it's got great functionality (at least imo). Good luck in your hunt!

^ I'd really just like to echo. You can go into the bathroom and dump out the mess into the toilet. In my experience, vinegar makes your diapers smell less so pour some vinegar on your diaper maybe? Of course, "my experience" is mostly wetting. I tend not to mess. I found it useful to know my roomies schedule. Which isn't that hard to remember, and isn't necessarily a creepy thing to do. If you really want to be safe, then only wear at times when the roommate is away!
