When I was growing up, I was terrified that my friends would find out I was a bedwetter. I thought I was the only one. I finally stopped around age 18, only to start up again. Now it's a nightly thing

I was the only bedwetter past 4 in my family. I didn't really stop wetting until around age 18. Not sure if any cousins wet the bed. My bedwetting started back up again around 20 or so, then it was hit or miss for several years. Came back full force in my 20s. Been a bedwetter ever since, now 72.

I am a lifelong bedwetter. Never wore any diapers or plastic pants growing up as they were difficult to find. Finally stopped bedwetting around age 18. This was back in late 60's. Restarted bedwetting shortly after I originally stopped. Diapers and plastic pants were becoming more available then. This is when I started to wear them. Been wearing ever since. I am now 72. Haven't had a dry night since. I sleep very deep.

Bedwetting stopped shortly age around age 18. Was hit or miss for several years. Finally put myself back in diapers and plastic pants when they became more available. Bedwetting every night now. Occasionally during the day too. Now age 71 and still a night floater.

I grew up in the early 50s. I only vaguely remember having plastic pants and pin on cloth diapers until age three. I wet every night and occasionally during the day until first grade. I often wet my pants in first grade. I went to a catholic school for first grade and to have bathroom breaks were few and far between. I continued to bed wet nightly. After first grade daytime wetting was slim to none. Nightly wetting never stopped until I was about 18, then it slowed down considerably, but not completely. It was hit or miss on nightly wetting for several years, only to return at age 27, which continues to this day. I never wore any type of diapers or plastic pants growing up as they were very difficult to find. Adult bedwetting products only came into prevalence in the late 70's or early 80s. When they started, there were only a few products out there. Now there are many more choices. I settled on pull-on overnight cloth diapers and plastic pants. Much cheaper in the long run.

Was bedwetter until about 18. Didn't wear any kind of diapers or plastic pants as they were very difficult to find. (1951-1969). Was always soaked head to toe. Bedwetting slowed down considerably for a few years, then came back. Now that more kinds of products are available, I now use overnight cloth pull-on diapers and plastic pants. Works great for me.

I know of no camps that require you to be a bedwetter prior to attending . There are camps out there that do take children with disabilities and on most camp health forms it lists if child has history of bedwetting. These camps usually require to those attending to wear some sort of protection, and many kids will have the same problem.

I wet because I am a deep sleeper. Usually nothing wakes me up. Had numerous tests to determine why I wet, nothing was found wrong.

Diapers will absorb most any urine flow, but MUST have some sort of waterproof covering, like plastic pants or a plastic backed diaper.
