Oh, wish there was someplace near me that sold those. I am now so craving this, lol
  2. Glad to read your employment got extended. That is a huge stress off of you for now. I totally understand about needing to make sure you have enough diapers in case something happens. My work is contract work and I always have it holding over my head that at any time I could be let go even though I have been at the same location for 15yrs. What I have been doing over the years is buying cheaper diapers at thrift stores and using them when at home and I have found that I can use three at a time by poking holes in on the inner two diapers allowing me to get through a work day without changing. The cost of the three diapers never cost me more than $1.25 for all three. Doing this allowed me to use my FSA to pay medical bills. At the end of the year, if my wife had any FSA left, that is when I would buy my Northshore Megamax diapers. Then through out the year I get paid for some extra work I do and I will take some of that money to buy good diapers. One thing I did find out about FSA accounts, if you use all your FSA money up before you are let go, you shouldn't have to pay any of it back. If you are a VET, you can always check into the VA. One of the guys I work with use the VA for his health benefits and is always trying to get me to switch over, but as long as I can afford paying what my work offers, that is what I will do. I do know someone that uses the VA and gets his diapers from them, but the problem there is they are not good diapers like Northshore sales. He was able to get a little better quality by having the doctor write a letter about how what is being supplied isn't working properly. What you are doing about stocking up isn't a bad idea. When it comes to having good diapers, to me there really isn't a way to have to many unless it's a semi load full, lol. Just know that you are not alone with these struggles, there are others of us out here dealing with it too. Being able to chat, vent, and support each other the best way we can online has always been a great help for me.
  3. I understand a lot of what you are going through and feeling. I lost total bladder control when I was 42 and at that time, I was told in time I would most likely start losing bowel control. My doctors didn't give a time frame because they knew they couldn't. Because of full on bladder loss, I can't use pull-ups, I have to use tape on diapers. The doctors have been surprised at how well I am able to live the quality of life I live wearing and using diapers. They wanted to do surgery and have me wear a bag attached to my belly for my pee, and if/when I have bowel problems the same for that, but I told them no, because diapers have allowed me to be fully functional with everything in life that I want and need to do. During these 15yrs of having to wear diapers, I have never considered myself as disabled, in fact I considered my self in a much better place because I no longer had to stop what I am doing to go find a bathroom, get to sit through a whole movie, get to drive longer, get more work done, and the list goes on and on. Even though all this was good for me, yes there were challenges that I have had to overcome. Some of those challenges were how and where to change my diaper. Who should know I am wearing diapers, what diaper is best for me, and so on. It's taken time for me to work all that out and I am glad for places like this site and other AB/DL sites and support sites that helped me figure a lot of this out. The biggest thing for you is to learn and understand your body, understand what protection will work best for you and how you want it to work for you. For me if I just dribbled, I still wouldn't use pull-ups when at work or out because I never want to take my pants off in order to change. I have learned what stores, restaurants, gas stations and such have a private bathroom that I can go into and change if I need to change while I am out. When it comes to letting others know, for me it's been on a need to know basis and in these 15yrs, there may be only about 15 people that I personally know that I have told them about my need to wear diapers. I know I have noted lot here and I do hope something here does help you. Just keep your head held high and be proud that there are good pull-ups and diapers out there for us to use that allow us to live the quality of life we want and need to live.

    New Clothes

When I go shopping for new clothes, it's important that I have on my thick diapers so I can tell how the clothes will fit over them.
  5. Even though I wear out of need, if my bladder incontinence was cured, I would still continue to wear and use. For me diapers are the best underwear ever made.

    More of my daily underwear

I don't like having to change during the day at work.

    Exam 001

I would call that my typical underwear drawer. In fact, my underwear drawer is like yours except it is larger and has more diapers in it. I don't think I have a regular pair of underwear anywhere in my dresser drawers now.
  8. I think it fits you very nicely. I have always wondered what pants sagging with a diaper on would look like. I think you pull that look off real nicely.

interesting, why not just use a foley catheter? they are made to stay inside and then you can deflate them and take them out.
